Sad to see the school close the school was a asset to the community, especially in language, prepping children to communicate and several languages academics top social skills. Top staff was great.

FPM rewards kids for good stand up behavior. Giving them more responsibility than the usual helps make them accountable.

My child has an IEP and still makes honor roll every year. I believe all efforts by his teachers is made to assist my student and help to make him an independent high achieving student.

FPM has a no tolerance bully policy. Counseling and Coaches are present that enforce healthy relationships.

8/10, my kids have been here 2 years and are just as successful here as they have been at any suburban schools prior to FPE and FPM. They have maintained their scholar performance at FPM Camden, NJ.

Homework is given every night and I find it keeps my children on task for upcoming quizzes and test. They perform in 85% and above each week on progress report results.

Their is NO leadership in letting a straight A student get C's & F's and not reach out to the parents or guardians about the child's decline until report card conferences. As an educator its partially your job to be attentive to your students and reach out when you see a decline BEFORE the term ends and the child completely fails!

They decided it was a good idea to place alternative students in the class with honors students as a means of "balancing out" the alternative students, but now the honors students are starting to decline. This school needs to be evaluated!

-1% This has not been a great experience, teachers calling about incidents saying my child was involved but denying the call when I contacted administration about it(because it wasnt true). No communication when you reach out thru email or jupiter ed. No communication when your concerned about your child's grades. I dont agree with placing "alternatives students" in the same class setting with honors students. I dont agree with the teachers not having to take the same state mandated test that teachers in the public schools have to take before being hired. I dont agree with 10 minutes to eat lunch because the teachers hold the entire class due to 1 students misbehavior. I dont agree with so much emphasis on complete uniform (and in-house suspension of they're not) when teachers are coming to work intoxicated or reeking of substances. I dont agree with 9hr school days and 4hrs of homework per night. I dont agree with NO recess or gym classes. They have a great curriculum but I dont agree with them now having to alter it so that it's made easier for the children with learning impairments. This is not a good school and if your a good parent you'll do the work to find that out!

Their approach is to give huge packets of homework every night(4hrs worth) after having a 9hr school day with NO recess or gym classes for the children to relieve their minds for a second!

Majority of the teachers are super young and just getting out of college getting jobs for the great pay in the urban community but cannot seem to handle the children in the classrooms lessons aren't being taught but work keeps being given!

I would never recommend anyone put their children in this school. This school has a very poor communication system, the adults cant handle constructive criticism who a nasty attitude, they are allowed to put your children in restraints and holds without yr consent, they are their own bullies to these children, they rush through lessons not giving the children or parents the time to absorb what they are learning, the give the children no time to eat breakfast in the am uf the bus is late they have only 10m to put their things away get their food nd sit dwn and eat. Not to mention they get whats left. They lie to parents in their faces. Id rather u talk to my child how u talk tp them when im not there rather then act like your so nice when the parent is present. My child had to get in multiple fights and once b suspended for defending herself before they removed the problem from the bus. They DO NOT take accountability for their own actions!!! This school needs to shut down i have absolutely nothing positive to say about this school except that alot of them are not leaders and are guiding our children down the wrong path

Amazing! They have a great principal and my child is happy to go to school.

This school has changed for the better! I am the proud parent of a scholar who recently graduated with honors at this school. The teachers and principal motivate the students to succeed. If your child needs help in any academic the teachers make time for them. The guidance counselor helped me place my child into a great high school. The teachers reward the students with trips and prizes which gives them motivation to succeed. It also shows the students that with hard work you will be rewarded with a great job or promotion or any goal that your child is striving to achieve. I recommend this school to anyone who wants the best education in a middle school for their child.
