This school does nothing for your child, and will belittle any problem your child comes to them with.

Teachers are there to back students and offer after school assistance with anything. They are understanding, and helpful. The homework approach is decent. Not too hard, not too little. This is coming from an AP student.

All of the teachers in the building assist all students of their needs and accommodate to help them strive and achieve goals. They are friendly, kind, trusting, and above all, professional.

I don't see this entirely, but students, more often than not, attain these traits in the school or already have them. But it's also based on if the student wants to work or not as well.

There aren't leadership courses other than Adventure Bound, but I don't see anything bad, and teachers will help develop leaders in their classrooms.

I have a sister who has a difficult time retaining information, and they go out of their way to help her by any means necessary.

I wasn't a subject of it, I didn't see it, so I can't say in this.

I loved all of my teachers, and it's unfortunate college has already begun. I enjoyed every second of it, and I didn't ever choose to miss school intentionally because I didn't want to go.

I am going into my junior year at Jackson Liberty High School and my experiences the past 2 years have been mixed. I have seen some great teachers but also awful teachers. The one big issue I have had at Jackson Liberty is the lack of mental health resources. I have gone to their guidance offices and spoken with them about my mental health and even spoke to the counselor that focuses on mental health and I have had no good outcomes with it. Another issue I have seen second hand is bullying. Countless women get slut-shamed, countless people have experienced racism and even sexual harassment. The school does nothing about these issues to stop or prevent them. The school as a whole is nice and updated however the actual staff, faculty, and students are some of the worst experiences as a whole. I still have two more years here and I doubt they will change my opinion that I have now.

Teachers give out a reasonable amount of homework

There are more teachers that make school less enjoyable then there are teachers that make school a place you want to go every day.

There are many students that are disrespectful and there are no teachers that want to enforce good character

Posted: August 11, 2020

There are many classes and teachers that would only teach one way and not accommodate students with different learning styles or learning disabilities.

The teachers do not communicate with each other and my three kids have boatloads of homework to do every night and i can't always help all of them i feel that if the lessons were taught more thoroughly my children would be allotted less homework, and given more time to socialize and grow as human beings.

All five of my children tell me the staff and students have only gone as far to put up posters for a month or two

My six kids hate it here and only take solace in their close personal friends

School is brand new and huge. Teachers are caring for the most part and curriculum is great. The office administrative staff needs to change they can be very rude at times! New books over all a good school.

As of right now, the school has chromebooks. They are given personally to all AP students, but regular level teachers can borrow them for their class for the day. They also have instituted a new policy, where you can bring in your devices (laptops, tablets, etc.) and use them in the classrooms to take notes! The cafeteria can use some help, most foods are generally not healthy and there are no vegan/vegetarian options whatsoever. Teachers are certainly qualified, many are relaxed and pretty funny. However, administration could be better, and the 9th grade guidance counselor is not too great at her job.

Since they started accepting Lakewood Problem Child's my son now hates going to school. Why not send more Memorial kids here if there is room for more students? This must stop, this school is to nice to be brought down by Lakewood.
