As a former student who just graduated , I feel its important to speak out about the unfair treatment happening at my school. One of the biggest issues is how female students are targeted when it comes to dress code especially those with more developed bodies !!!! Its disturbing that male teachers are often the ones enforcing these rules, which makes many girls feel uncomfortable and judged. Two students can wear the same outfit, yet only one gets dress coded based on her body type. Thats not okay. All students deserve to be treated equally, regardless of how they look.
Bullying is another huge problem here. The staff rarely take it seriously, and when we do report things, they claim theyll fix it but never actually do. It feels like our voices dont matter. Many teachers abuse their power and treat students with disrespect. The environment isnt supportive or safe I ts stressful. The food in the cafeteria is also really bad, and our concerns about it are always brushed off.
Lastly, the assistant principals seriously need more education on how to communicate with students. If they want respect, they should lead by example and earn it, not demand it. Overall, this school has a lot of issues that need real change, not just empty promises.

The teachers are good but the administration is not able to handle the struggling kids and the kids are out of control, making it a toxic environment for learning. The school district relies on punishment instead of focusing on teaching the struggling students the skills they need to succeed and this makes the problem worse.

Excellent school, very diverse and teachers seem to be engaged as much as the students. Students are encouraged to do extracurricular activities which really sets them up for success

Math Teacher Doreen Torillo & Spanish Teacher Victoria Echeverrí Worst Teachers in history. I never seen a school be so blunt about racism. If your not white don't bother thinking your child will be getting a education.

My 12 year old has been going to this middle school. So far I have nothing to complain. He has done well in school. They have many after school activities too. My son feels his teachers are real good, they teach really well and take care of them well too.

At one time the school may have been worthy of four or five stars, but certainly not today. My child's sixth grade teachers were great, seventh grade mediocre, this year's eighth grade teachers are a disaster. Only one decent teacher for eighth grade, the rest not much interested in teaching. Paperwork comes home with incorrect verb tenses, wrong dates, incorrect grammar etc. My child was writing on a high school level in seventh grade. In eighth, the LA teacher made her write on sixth grade level. Administration does nothing to address bullying of students by teachers or other students, nor do they enforce the Code of Conduct parents and students are required to read and sign each year. If your expectations are low, or your focus exclusively on extra curricular activities, the school is probably fine, but if you are looking for a good education in a positive environment, no matter how great the school says it is, this is not the place.

My both kids attend the Melvin H Kreps school. My daughter is junior in college and she did very well in her high school as well in college. My son got great knowledge from this school. School is excellent The teachers, coaches and administrative staff are excellent. The Interscholastic Sports program is really good, the coaches put lot of effort. I am very impressed and I'm very happy that my both kids got excellent knowledge, wonderful and pleasant middle school experience at Kreps.

Melvin H. Kreps Middle School is staffed with some of the most talented and hard- working professionals I have ever met. That being said, it is also run by the most corrupt, incapable and downright abusive set of administrators. The administration, which promotes a no- tolerance, anti- bullying policy, is completely guilty of bullying their teachers-- sending them threats both verbally and via email, "demerits" after walk- throughs, micro- managing every aspect of the classroom and school environment (You must log into Genesis by 7:20 AM each morning or you will be punished). However, there is no solidarity amongst the administrators; one person will tell you to do one thing and another will tell you that you're doing that exact same thing wrong. Ask any of the teachers here and they will tell you how much they absolutely cannot stand the totalitarian dictatorship that "runs" this school. Worst of all, this model of fear and intimidation is not even effective. All it does it burn out great teachers.

Both of my children went to this school, my son is now a junior in Hightstown High school and my daughter is a freshman, They both did very well in this school. They were on the honor roll. The teachers were great and very accessible with the grade portal. The kids are all very nice, my son was in 7th grade when he started there and the children were very welcoming. There is no bullying or fighting.
