Outstanding school! We did a lot of research before deciding on this school. My daughter started there in kindergarten and is now set to start 2nd grade there. The faculty are very focused and invested in their students. Our daughter is thriving in this environment. I strongly recommend this school. It has been a true pleasure.

There is nothing better than having your child want to go to school, want to learn, and love learning in a nurturing environment. The teachers are beyond amazing, very often staying after school to help students with work or participate in every PTO gathering (they are helping and participating every time I bring my child to PTO events too, not just meetings). The principal greets your child each day in the drop-off car line. How many other principals in this town do that??? The staff goes out of their way to ensure you know exactly what is going on in your child's school day and scholastic achievements. The small class size ensures that your child is not lost in a sea of kids, and that there are at least 3 teachers per grade ensures your child is being given the attention he/she deserves. Despite any township misinformation or downright lies about this school, the truth is, it's the better elementary school (research any public records of testing - it's there). It could have been expanded if the town wasn't so small minded and scared. I would give it 100 stars if I could.

We got lucky. In a town where the schools are not rated that well (see ratings on this site), this school provides high quality schooling. Definitely a 10 star rating. If you get a chance, go visit them on an open day and meet the teachers, students and parents. You will not be disappointed.

I LOVE this school! My child is a very happy student who loves school & enjoys learning. The curriculum is very impressive, to say the least. They are definitely teaching these children to reach their finest potential! The teachers & staff are amazing, the parents are very involved and there are many fun family activities to be a part of throughout the year! A positive, loving & nurturing atmosphere. The best school choice in this district, BY FAR!

As public school teachers, my husband and I struggled with the decision about where to send our daughter to school, especially after all the mistruths the Florence School District administration is spreading about the Charter School. Our experience at this school has been absolutely incredible! All of the educational philosophies my husband and I have, about academic proficiency, discipline, and teaching our students to be well rounded are all put into practice at this school. We have never met a more dedicated, caring Principal. These teachers give 1,000% in order to help our students succeed, they are always going above and beyond. Knowing that our child is learning and THRIVING in this environment is more than we could ever ask for. Our favorite part of the school is how involved the families are encouraged to be, with so many activities that get us involved and keep us up to date. What an incredible blessing this school has been for her, and our entire family!

This school is a definite 5 star rating... If I could give it additional stars, I would! Dedicated staff - including the most hands on, dynamic & involved principal I have ever seen, warm, loving & positive atmosphere, extremely involved parents who, along with the staff, give Riverbank a very close-knit family feel... The education is top-notch in every aspect. I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful little school. As a parent of 4 children, I've been on both sides of the fence: public & charter school. I removed my child from the public elementary school due to being frustrated year after year with everything from lack of discipline / chaos in the classroom to my child "falling through the cracks" academically. After experiencing K-3 with Riverbank charter, I would NEVER go back to the twp. K-3 choice... Absolutely, NEVER. My only wish: that Riverbank went to higher grades. Highly recommend this excellent school.

This school is absolutely amazing to say the least! I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to send my child there!! The schools in my district to say the least are awful, from my own personal experience, and by review. So the fact that we have the opportunity of having this charter is great! The principal is so attentive. It is a home away from home experience. All of the teachers are so enthusiastic and absolutely love their job. All of the children love attending as well. I have not one complaint nor have I heard any since this school has opened! The sense of community is great as well. The students needs are always the top priority. All of the families are very, very involved, and the PTO has done such a great job of having family outtings , activities and fundraisers to keep all of the families informed in every aspect of their childs education, and the direction the school is headed in. I would highly recommend to any family in the area who wants a more personable and inviting education for their child to apply to Riverbank Charter School of Excellence!!! You will not regret it!
