My nephew has been attending this school for the past two years, and during that time, he has experienced ongoing issues with bullying from other students. Unfortunately, there have also been concerns regarding the behavior of a particular teacher. This teacher often engages in arguments with students rather than setting an example as an adult, educator, and role model. Additionally, she has failed to address the bullying or take appropriate action when incidents occur, and there appears to be a clear bias in her treatment of students.
It is also concerning that the administration, including the principal, has not taken effective steps to resolve these issues. This pattern of inaction and lack of accountability has created an unhealthy and unsafe environment for students.
It is crucial that changes are made. The ongoing bullying by both students and, at times, staff needs to be addressed with urgency and seriousness. Every child deserves to feel safe and supported at school.

Hermosa Heights Elementary is a very biased school. The Teachers don't respect students and aren't kind to them.

My son has attended this school through Preschool, Kindergarten and now finishing First Grade. For us it has been a wonderful experience, there is a small community feel to the school, every teacher we have worked with has been excellent and the principal genuinely cares about the kids and the school itself. My son is learning quickly and seems to enjoy going to school, I believe that is due to the great teachers and staff. Only once, last year, did we have trouble with a bully and it was addressed quickly - my son's teacher, the principal and the school counselor all got involved to care for the problem quickly and fairly. I look forward to enrolling my step daughter in the same school next year.
