I love that the class sizes are small, with no more than 12 students in each class. My child sometimes struggles with staying focused, and the teacher thoughtfully placed him close to her so she can give him extra attention. The teachers do a great job motivating my children to learnthey are happy and excited to go to school every day. I feel so lucky that my children attend such a wonderful school.

Journey Education has been a genuinely positive experience for our family. What stands out most is how intentional the staff is about meeting each student where they are, both academically and personally. Theres a level of care and awareness here that goes beyond curriculum and shows up in how students are supported day to day.

The environment feels calm, respectful, and focused. Communication has been clear and consistent, and when questions or needs arise, the team is responsive and thoughtful in how they handle them.

What I appreciate most is that the school recognizes that students dont all learn or grow in the same way. Theres flexibility and understanding built into the structure, which allows students to stay engaged without feeling pressured into a one-size-fits-all system.

Overall, Journey Education feels like a place where students are seen, supported, and given the space to develop at their own pace. Weve been grateful for the experience. I would love to see a foreign language offering added in the future.

Journey Education is MY SCHOOL - I have taught here, laughed here, played here, learned here, and loved every minute of it for the past 12 years!

My three boys all attended Journey Education (non-profit, private school, K-8) through 8th grade, and my niece is just starting her journey here in kindergarten. Speaking from both a parent's and teacher's perspective, Journey is a little hidden gem in the desert! We offer something no other school in Vegas can: exceptional, individualized education in a safe and loving environment.

Our class size is rarely over 12 students and the teachers are at the top of their craft. With the ridiculously small teacher/student ratio, we are able to give every child attention and personalized instruction.

Students are placed in core classes (math, language arts, and writing) based on skill level, rather than age. This means children are never in over their heads and floundering, and they are always challenged. Our students develop self-confidence and learn much more than they would ever be able to in a traditional classroom.

My personal view on education is that children must be happy to learn. If they don't want to be at school, they will shut down. Teaching begins with making sure my students feel safe, loved, and are having fun. They need to want to come back tomorrow in order to open their minds to learning today.

My daughter currently attends middle school at Journey Education in Las Vegas, and overall our experience has been very positive. One of the biggest advantages of this school is the small class sizes. With about an 11:1 student-teacher ratio, the teachers are able to give each student more individual attention and really get to know them academically and personally. This has helped my daughter stay engaged in her classes and feel comfortable asking for help when she needs it.

The teachers and staff genuinely care about the students and create a supportive learning environment. Ive noticed that the school focuses not only on academics but also on character development, responsibility, and confidence. The community also feels very close-knit, which makes it easier for parents to stay involved in their childs education.

Another positive aspect is that the school prepares students well for high school by encouraging strong study habits and independent thinking. The smaller school setting also allows students to build friendships and feel safe and supported during the important middle school years.
Overall, Journey Education has been a great choice for our family. If youre looking for a smaller private school where teachers know the students personally and focus on both academics and personal growth, its definitely worth considering.

We love Journey Education. I cant say enough good things about this school. The small class sizes, family atmosphere, and consistent communication make such a difference. One of the things we appreciate most is how they truly meet each student where they are and help level them up from there. They recognize that every child learns differently and provide the right balance of support and challenge so each student can grow with confidence. My son has learned so much this year and genuinely looks forward to going to school every single day.

Theres something really special about dropping your child off and being greeted by so many teachers and students who know his name. Its clear the staff truly care about every child, not just academically but personally as well. Although its a smaller school, they do an incredible job fostering a strong sense of community through thoughtful on-site events and involvement. We feel so grateful to be part of it.

Journey Education has been a great school for our family. The small class sizes allow for individualized attention, and the teachers provide strong instruction while maintaining clear and consistent communication with parents.
The school has zero tolerance for bullying and offers a safe, respectful environment. The entire staff is professional and kind. Even though my sons first language is Spanish, he has progressed well academically and feels happy and confident at school.

We're so grateful for the friend who recommended this school! After transferring from another private school, we immediately saw the difference in how much care and attention each child receives here at Journey Education. The small class sizes have allowed our daughter to thrive, and her teacher truly goes above and beyond to make learning fun and engaging. For the first time, she's genuinely excited to go to school and comes home eager to share what she's learned.

We also love how the school tailors learning to each child's needs. Our daughter takes additional English classes with the kindergarteners to build a stronger foundation while still participating in her first-grade class. Thoughtful touches like "Monday Fun Day" help the kids ease back into learning after the weekend in a fun, lighthearted way.

What really stands out to us is that the school values more than just academics--they also recognize empathy, gratitude, and kindness. We were so proud when our daughter was recognized for being kind to others.

I absolutely love Journey!! My son started kindergarten this year and hes absolutely thriving. Pricing is very reasonable and the quality of learning is excellent. The classroom sizes are small (12 max I believe) that really allows for quality one on one attention. My son has learned so much and I love that all the teachers know all the students, its a great environment. The school also holds many events and gatherings for families, great way to build community. So grateful we picked Journey.

We had a son there for 8 years and it was great.
1. Teacher student ratio about 1:12,,,, great
2. Teachers get to know students individually
3. 4 day a week option is fantastic
4. Prep for high school was very good
5. Field trips and overnight trips were great

Overall. It was a great experience.

When we found Journey Education, our son was scholastically behind from public school and the pandemic aftermath. They met him where he was and helped him learn how to self-advocate and take ownership of his learning experience. Our son has transformed in the past 2 years with reduced anxiety and awesome grades. He is about to go back for 5th grade Math and 4th grade ELA. The teachers are full of purpose and care about the students. The owners of the school are involved and genuinely care about the contributions their nonprofit school makes in this world. The entire school does a great job of celebrating wins together. It is a small community to be a part of that is rich with integrity and scholastic competence.

What a fantastic school! Journey combines academics, arts, performance, fun and a sense of humor to education. They teach to the child and dont water it down or leave anyone behind. This organization is a breath of fresh air for the Las Vegas community! Our son has grown leaps and bounds since attending Journey Education.

We have been going to Journey Education for the last 4 years and I can honestly say it is a wonderful school!! Both my boys have been in Journey since 2nd grade and Kinder- if I could do it again I would still have them in Journey. Everyone there the teachers, principal, administrators, staff, and assistants are simply amazing human beings and beautiful souls. They are loving, caring and supportive in every way. The school not only focus on academia but also compassion, respect, and leadership. Though it is a small school (which is a huge plus) this schools is not missing anything. The students come out well rounded well adjusted little scholars! I cannot say enough good things about Journey, our family is so grateful for this school.
