My son goes here and he absolutely loves it the teacher he has and has had are always so nice I have messaged them with concerns about homework, recess time or info and they always respond within that day as well as when my son has missed school they contact me to make sure everything is okay , the principal depaolo is super welcoming and very communicative, I am ready glad with the staff and all they do for the kids

Great teachers, but absolutely awful leadership. The principal, Kelly Reed, is cruel. She is a bully to her students and staff. This is not the type of leadership that should be tolerated in CCSD.

The principal, Kelly Reed, is an absolute disaster and it has led to extraordinary teacher turnover from year to year. She seems to have missed the 90s memo that micromanagement is an ineffective form of leadership. Because she is incapable of reasonably justifying any of her policies to her staff, she attempts to gain compliance through bullying. Its an embarrassment to CCSD - as if the district doesnt already have enough of them that shes yet to be removed.

Very unprofessional teachers! Especially the ones that teach specials. Looks like they don't have anything better to do and are stuck in this school with our children. It is very sad to see your own child crying because of the insulting made but these teachers...I DONT RECOMMEND this school!

There are some times where it is too much. I mean there is not enough time in a evening to do all the things that they are requiring of the students\parents. Everyone is not a stay at home mom.

This school needs to be torn down and rebuilt. It is by far the worst school that I have seen. The teacher's have no concern for the children's safety, it is very unstructured, and most of the staff's appearance looks as if they just crawled out of bed. Very unprofessional!

I love this school! They're really kind to my children at Katz. Katz has a kind staff . Also my daughter loves Mrs.Castillo,and can't wait to be in fourth grade. But, unfortunately it' too over crowded!!! Parking situation is Ridiculous!!!!! There is no proper drop off zone!!!It wasn't meant to have that amount of students housed. oo

This school had change for the worse in the last two years . Since my daughter being coming here. It have been hell. No one cares for the children's. The principal don't have the rights skills. The principal is unprofessional to manager a school. She have to get re educated in helping others out. My grading for this school is a Big F . I as a parent was accused of doing false stuffed with other students . The principal needs not to interfere with parental rights. She needs to worried about her staff . I just can't wait until its over. Thanks unhappy parent

The school has been great for my kids. We love our children's teachers and the principal and assistant principal Were really helpful when we had a concern about my son being bullied. They took care of it right away. I thought the science fair was a lot of fun for my children too. Great place for kids

When trying to visit my child's classroom i was approached by the Teacher in a verbally abusive manner. This teacher was very loud and rude to me in front of the class. I felt very disrespect; i just want to witness the teaching methods for my child. My other children's teacher were absolutely wonderful.

I have 3 kids that go to Katz Elementary shool sice my experience i am not impressed by what i have seen and i do not like how the teachers are with the kids the yell at the student all day the assistance as far as the teachers are unprofessional i use to go to the school and sit and observe my children in the class rooms and the teachers the teachers get very irritated with the kids and cant handle them during my visits at the begining of the year for the past year in a half no one had a problem with how long i stayed weather i helped out while i was there or not my son has had 3 teachers since the year has begun now that he is in the class and has the teacher that he has now its all of a sudden an issuse to be in the class room reminder ive never been disrespectful or rude to anyone and whenever they ask me to do smthing i do it i am very unhappy with whats going on at Katz and how i have been treated and further actions will be taken

School is very nice but unfortunately , most of office ladies at front desk are sooooooo far a away to be friendry or polite. There is no smile at all. I saw some Parents ask general question to them. They don't have a facial expression. Just they glare them and say ok or no with and no smile no explain. I don't understand how they can be hired especially in the school office. I hope they can improve communication skills. Because They are the face of the elementary school. I hope the principal can find out and take an good action.

I attended this school when I was young, now i'm in high school in Oklahoma, and people out here are surprised I speak proper this school is truly a remarkable experience the teachers are loving and caring and the things they teach you stick with you.I would recommend this school to anyone who wants to give their child a better education.
