This school helped my daughter be smart and learn new skills in life and she loved to learn new skills from her teacher and her classmates in school are very nice and kind and supportive of each other the p.e teacher is very nice and supportive and very kind

This school doesn't take bullying seriously. They dont ask for other sides and they favorite white kids. Education is okay but the counsilors and teachers take sides. My friend was a victim of bullying but their bully reported first and they didnt ask to hear his side. He lost disney privileges in which he paid $535 for. I don't recommend not a single bit.

We moved here from out of state last year and have really enjoyed our 6th and 8th grade experiences at Becker. The principal counselors and most teachers care about the kids success. The kids are rewarded for positive behaviors and are recognized in ceremonies for teacher nominated awards. The grades are transparent online for parent to support students. I really like that Becker has small class sizes compared to other middle schools in the Summerlin area. While every school has different groups, I think Becker provides means for all kids to find kids to mesh well with while having a good educational opportunity.
I’m a member of the SOT and have enjoyed the opportunity to get involved, understand the school system, and support all kids at Becker with the administration.

Its an amazing school and my daughter love it and she wants her sister to go amd its sad because we are moving to San Juan, Puerto Rico because we have lots of family there but hopefully there is a school just like this one

the teachers have no respect for kids , and the help at this school is very low , when kids go to the front office and tell them that feel unsafe they had told me many times they cant do nothing about the bullying ,many kids get food poising. and sick because the lunch people don't fully cook the food and teachers threaten kids and make them feel unsafe i fully suggest that you don't go to this school

Avoid this school at all costs! My daughter goes here and absolutely hates it. The teachers are petty and unfocused. The kids are bullies. And the administration could care less.

If you want your child to come home crying every day, send them here. If you want them to get an education from teachers who actually care about teaching, send them somewhere else.

my son transfer to Becker middle school this year. He doing great than other school, he really enjoyed every day. I am happy decided him to study at Becker school.

Love my son going to Becker. Nice and very effective teachers. Approachable if there is a discussion needed regarding your student or school issue concern or idea.

I used to love this school. I have a kid who went here and has since gone on to high school. Never had any major issues. Now my second kid goes here and I am seriously considering pulling her out. Bully free is what they claim, but I hear more about kids being bullied on a daily basis. The most horrific thing is that it's not all from the students. The new front office secretary is rude and disrespectful. She has made my child cry. I have experienced her horrible attitude 3 times now. I complained to the principal, and she did nothing. Not apologize for the way this woman treated my child. Not say she would speak to her. Nothing. Just stood there and stared at me. I am sad to say this school is becoming one of the many schools in this town that people should second guess sending their kids to.

I attended Becker for 3 years and I absolutely loved it. I'm now entering my junior year of high school and attending Nevada State High School (transferred from Cimarron-Memorial). Becker gave me the opportunity to meet so many kind people. I worked in the office as an aide my 8th grade year and I loved it! Everything about this school is welcoming. Some teachers are more challenging than others, but put in the effort and you're set. Middle school was a blast and I wish I could rewind. Send your kids to Becker. I hope they love and cherish it as much I do.

I have never in my life seen a school treat kids the way this school does. The administration at this school is terrible. The school district should really fire them all and maybe this school could be better for our children. They put kids against each other and always call kids down the deans office, because they do not want your child to get a good education. They say they are a bully free zone school but I promise you they are not. My child has had the worst experience here at Becker Middle school. It is suppose to be a safe place for your child to learn and grow not to feel unsafe and not want to go to school. I would never send my child to school here. Something needs to be done about this schools administration. My daughter was apart of the cheer team here. I would not allow her to tryout again because of all the drama it brought into her life. After not being on the cheer team the cheer coaches then treat here like she doesn't matter. Goes to show you how fake they are.

Moved here from 6 years at a local prestigious private school and Becker's accelerated curriculum is MORE CHALLENGING!
VERY IMPRESSED with parent teacher communication and class content.

I think becker is a great school but tge deans at that school does not do nothing about your childs problem.They just keep sending them in to write a statement then she that person that did somthing or is the victim in the prombem. I know this because i have a daughter that been in this school for 2 years she in now in 8th grade. I would like it if your guys will fix that promblem but becker is a great school

A great school with fair rules for students. I am so pleased with Becker and what is has done for my son. The teachers are wonderful but some do not get back to you in a timely manner. I understand they are busy but replying to an email from a concerned parent is something most teachers should do. Ms. Smith seems to know her stuff because she has been at Becker for many years. I'm so happy with my son's easy transition into middle school.

Why would you give Becker MS a 1 star rating if your child hasn't even attended the school yet? My child is starting her 3 year at Becker, and we have only great things to say about this school. The staff at Becker MS is everything you could possibly ask for or want. The Principal, Ms. Smith, is involved in all aspects in the school. She is a very dedicated person, and someone who really cares about the students. I don't understand why they only have an 8/10 rating though. The school provides a very safe environment and has fair disciplinary procedures. This school has an amazing staff of teachers also. They offer many extra-curricular activities including music, sports, and multiple school clubs. If your child is in fact fortunate enough to attend Becker MS, I believe they will have a very rewarding educational experience. My child has been in advanced classes and also is in the National Junior Honor Society, and we are very grateful for this experience. Prior to Becker MS, my child attended a private elementary school. This school offers just as much if not more, than the private did. This is a public school, so no uniforms. A parent - K.D.

I can't say enough of how much I love Becker. I was in backers student council and we were great. We did so much for the community. Now Becker might be filled with white kids but backers white kids aren't stuck up. They are nice and kind and very friendly. Becker has an AMAZING jazz band!!!! They got a +1 (they did so good they added a plus) not to mention there advanced choirs. I can't put to words how amazing advanced women's is. They work so hard. Our staff is so kind. Since I'm in stuck I know the staff really well. They are really sweet and is always there for your back. Becker is an 8/10 rating on great schools. Also in 2012 I believe Becker had the highest CRT scores in the state. Unbelievable. Becker is in a really nice area of town. It's in summerlin. Across Becker is a country club called eagle hills which has ginormous houses which cost millions of dollars (a lot of Becker kids live there) also Becker is a giant school. Around Becker are expensive neighborhoods with 3 car garages and fine scenery. Becker is amazing and can't say enough of it. Becker is surrounded by 3 small schools. But Becker sticks out the most... go bighorns!
