I would not recommend this school for your kids, especially if they have special education, IEP, or SLD their IEP team doesnt know how to communicate with their parents, Im so upset with how they DIDNT communicate with me about my daughter. I emailed the team leader and she NEVER replied back to me. Someone that is supposed to be there for your child, and their needs, had no professionalism. Do not take your kids here!

My child has been going to this school for 3 school years. Afternoon pickup is a joke, parents are allowed to sit in the front of pickup and not move. Other parents are stuck all the way in the back of the pickup line then our children are taken inside at 3:10. 5 minutes to pick up your child when no one wants to move the line along. My child has expressed concern that her teachers are EXCITED to use iReady. If our children don't want to use AI why are you going to make them? Did you forget we live in a desert and AI uses water? I'm extremely disappointed if that's the case. IReady is being sued as well so I'm confused why we're using this software. The rule that laptops need to come home everyday has also put a strain on our family as I have to take away a device we didn't want in the home, otherwise they're up all night. Where's paper and pencil homework? You want to complain about bad handwriting but don't use handwriting in school. Am I supposed to set my child up with a dictionary and a piece of paper? Absolutely a ridiculous request, how about using classic proven methods instead? This school may have won an award but they aren't better than any other school around Las Vegas.

This school used to be great, but everything changed when they hired the current Vice Principal. After her arrival, we learned that half the staff left due to her poor management. Never did I imagine that having someone like her in such an important position would impact our family so deeply.
The principal, vice principal, and counselor all claim to care and understand as parents themselves, yet they failed to protect my daughter from a bully who threatened to kill her. They did not enforce the no-contact contract in place and made my daughter feel bad for speaking up about the bullying. She was left feeling isolated because she was the only one brave enough to speak out, despite there being other victims.
The bully remains enrolled in the school, and despite knowing this child comes from a traumatic background and urgently needs counseling, the school failed to enforce its so-called zero tolerance for bullying. This child, who poses a danger to both herself and others, was allowed to stay at the school.
We had to constantly remind the staff to do their jobs, and it nearly cost me my own job, as I had to leave work multiple times to advocate for my daughter. Whenever we werent there physically, the school did nothing and continued to brush us off.
