This educational institution has proven to be an unsatisfactory environment. My student has been subjected to bullying, yet the school has failed to take appropriate action. It appears that certain families are favored over others based on their level of parental involvement, such as volunteering. Or if the parent storms in the building yelling and making a scene. In recent years, several highly qualified teachers have left the school. During the past 7th-grade year, my student received inadequate instruction in one of his classes. I raised these concerns with the school administration, but no significant steps were taken. Regrettably, the teacher who was supposed to provide assistance to students with special needs has returned this year and has been observed using their phone instead of actively supporting the students. Furthermore, families who threaten legal action are taken seriously and are able to obtain their desired outcomes at this school.

Unorganized. communication is terrible. Catered more towards protecting teachers and staff than the actual children they are supposed to be caring for. Disciplinary actions are not consistent. They claim to encourage parent involvement until parents actually are involved with their child's day to day success as a student. My student doesn't feel like their voice matters. Would not recommend to any new parents. There are positives. There are SOME good staff there but even the staff have issues with the way the school conducts business. Academically, there aren't too many concerns. The concerns primarily are with student well being, parent-staff interaction and manipulation of policies. Bullying is a big problem within the school as well as narrative control. You question their handling of situations and you become the target.

Weve been at Somerset Aliante since kindergarten. Kindergarten was wonderful but the experience has been disappointing since. Front desk staff are rude. The registrar Jessica is one of the most unhelpful people you can come across. She makes it seem like youre bothering her. This last year 2nd grade has topped it off though. The teacher was awful, she wouldnt respond message me about my child having a pen or some other trinket out during dismissal. Wouldnt respond to me on Class Dojo most of the time. School doesnt do a great job at responding to bullying. So happy to be out of this place!!!!

Great school. Pick-up and drop-off are a hassle though. Great education plan for kindergarten. small class sizes.
