I have been at this school for 3 years and I just wanna say that people might not think this is the best school but I think this school has improved so much over the years I feel safe here I feel like I actually learn a lot of new things girls complain saying that they feel like they don't belong but the only reason why they feel like that is because they don't try and get out there or get to know others girls complain saying that the uniforms dont make them feel good about themselves but yet every other student feel happy and don't complain because that's the point for everyone to feel happy with them self and good about themselves overall this school is a really great school and I'm very proud to say I got to ywla..

Do not send your kid well daughter here,Yes it's supposed to be some leadership academy but my daughters time here was horrible.First the bathrooms were horrible and so was the school lunch which wasn't even real food 80% of the time. Third the education and teaching here is horrible. Classrooms kept very dirty. Another thing this school really enforces the uniform policy and if you don't have on a white or navy polo without the logo you'll get a call home/dress coded and their uniform isn't cheap. There's no clubs or sports or simple stuff like art,music,theater,etc. And to mention some of the teachers/staffs favoritism most teachers were really nice like the social studies,Math,and P.E teachers they wrre extremely kind and loving but most of the other staff we're picking favorites they would only let like 3 kids participate in school involved things like speeches,field trips,they can get away with stuff,and literally anything else. Whenever my daughter tried asking for help they were no help at all just telling her to do this or that which didn't help so my daughter felt very unworthy and useless during her time there which messed with her mental health. Lastly safety, There's not much to this but the school is in a church and in a neighborhood that isn't bad but not good there had been no incidents where the kids were in danger. There were some fights between the girls this year but nothing too crazy. So by my and my daughters experience I would not recommend this school at all.
