My daughter doesnt even want to go back to the school. She begs me everyday that the staff is mean to her. Ive had issues with other students from the middle school across the street threaten my daughter because her and another girl in her class get into girly arguments in 5th grade. The staff do nothing about it but if you make it aware that you will protect your daughter at all cost and press charges, tell the student to stop making threats against your child, they want to call it a threat against a minor which is crazy if they expect me to just stand there when my child walks home. The school has completely affected my daughters mental health. Shes only 10.. the staff dont listen to your concerns, they belittle you as a parent, they will blame you child for this and that with no reasonable proof other than student witnesses? At this point, Im starting to think theyre targeting my daughter. My daughter puts her head down in class, shes isolated from other children when she chooses not to do her work because its too hard for her, this school does NOT care about their students.. they only care about a paycheck. Thats it. I dont recommend taking your child here at all. Currently taking these incidents to the district. Why do you think their google reviews are off on their school page?

My niece is 10 and still struggles to read small words. She is reading at 2nd grade level as a 4th grader. This school is disappointing and she always complained about her teacher being mean to the class.

Awful; this school is awful. Does not support the students, does not help the ones in need, and definitely does not care about any of the kids.

When I was teaching at this school, the teachers and administrators were EXTREMELY mean and not supportive. Their expectations were unclear and unrealistic. They did not make any sense. Additionally, as a teacher, I was constantly tied down with work with the teachers and administrators always hounding me for things, and my hard-work was never appreciated. I was constantly being reprimanded for something.
I would not recommend teaching at this school or sending your child here because they are mean and abusive to them as well.

This school was excellent once upon a time but in recent years its been struggling. I actually blame the current principle. I attended here 20 years ago and it was wonderful, however, on a recent tour I was saddened to see its deterioration. I don't think my daughter will attend this school, though it would have pleased me greatly to have her attend the same elementary school I did.
