This schools low ranking is not surprising given the leadership. The principals attitude is extremely concerning and comes across as disconnected from the well-being of the students. It often feels like the focus is more on collecting a paycheck than genuinely supporting and protecting the children.
There have been multiple incidents where inappropriate behavior has been overlooked or dismissed, particularly when it involves students of the same ethnic background as the principal. Even more troubling are the repeated concerns raised about racism within the school, which seem to be ignored or handled inconsistently. It creates an environment where accountability feels selective rather than fair and unbiased.
When it comes to academics, there also appears to be a lack of genuine investment in student success. Overall, the leadership sets a tone that does not prioritize safety, equity, or quality education, and it shows.

Both of my children ages 8 and 10 attended this school for 3 years unfortunately I have to take them elsewhere there have been multiple safety plans in place due to racism at their school unfortunately when you try to advocate for your child and have a discussion with the principal in your dismissed and never address properly these principles do very little to none when it comes to their kids unless it's a family member that attends the school other than that they can care less as long as their family members can be behind the counter and do as they please and they come in just to collect a check that's all that matters The school is went downhill very fast it has 3.1 stars for a reason

My son loves this school and we had a great experience but I have to say that they are overly strict about attendance in which other schools are not even if a child is having mental health issues. I feel like all they do is worry about the kids there or not. Whether then if the kid's not there for a certain reason, they'd like to show up at your house unannounced if your kid even misses a bit of school even when you're working with them. I think it's ridiculous. The school is not rated high for a reason. That being said, seeing a counselor is close to Impossible if your kid needs it. They need a lot of work.

Lack of Supervision: there are no staff members on duty, leading to inadequate oversight and potentially dangerous situations? Students are almost getting ran over by cars in the school property. Parents has been complaining and the staff doesnt do anything about but says that they are not responsible even though the students are in SCHOOL property!!!!!
Staff needs to do better and be on sight while kids are waiting to get inside staff is on the clock

My son is a disbled adhd, developmental delays etc...prek ms mcnamey.This has turned out to be the worst place for my son to be, totally unqualified ,unprofressional, andd 4 very uncaring to needs for child.threaten my 4yr. old "the police r comming to get u" as punishment for Not listening & more foul discrimminating treatments...

I just moved to Las Vegas back in Oct, and my 7 yr is enrolled here, She loves it, she has a wonderful teacher, Mr M, who is excellent with her. Mr M is very caring, and she loves how he teaches, my daughter has ADHD, and it is very hard for her to focus, Mr M works with her, and she has excelled.
