It is very unfortunate that my children are zoned for this school. I have had nothing but issues with the principal, Mrs Mora. She has been extremely difficult to work with in situations where my child's safety has been compromised, and were her mental well-being and happiness have been compromised as well. I have had to call the school district on several occasions just to get a simple resolution.

I have spoken with several teachers that have also left the school due to her failure as an administrator. She is known for being unaccommodating and unsupportive. Unfortunately, my family has been victim this behavior as well

Classroom sizes are also expected to be beyond 40 students per class, which I also find ridiculous, considering perfectly qualified and excellent teachers have left the school due to this poor administration.

If your child is not already enrolled in the school, look for another please! My family has a very long road ahead of them looking for another school that will support their mental health, happiness, educational needs, and safety.

The principal and staff are very open and encourage parent involvement which is crucial in children's education because it goes both ways. I've been a very present parent at the school for 6 years now until my kiddo graduates soon in 2026 and I'm sad to leave.. we love RHB! The teachers and staff are THE BEST!

At RHB, our mission is simple: students will be engaged, supported, and challenged. We live this every day through our 5 Be Promises—Be Kind, Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be in Control. These guide our students’ choices and create a positive, safe school culture.

Our teachers go above and beyond the district curriculum, creating lessons that challenge, support, and reach all learners. They use scaffolds, extensions, and purposeful strategies to ensure every student—especially our growing population of English Learners—can thrive.

RHB is more than a school; it’s a caring community where families can feel confident their children are learning, growing, and achieving their best.

Our elementary school provides a warm, welcoming environment where every child feels supported and inspired to learn. The dedicated teachers, strong community spirit, and engaging programs make it a truly wonderful place for students to grow academically, socially, and personally.

The learning environment in the school is not great when I see students not excited about learning .some teachers take a two to three time incidents as the child needs a behavior adjustment . When they offer support , the student can get of the support groups fast enough. So what’s the point ???? Safety and family engagement to ensure kids are learning as best possible is poor. The teachers do not get parent involved ..

It's rare to find a school with inspirational leadership, caring staff and community engagement. Extremely grateful that my three children have gotten the opportunity to go to Richard H. Bryan. Their commitment to each child's success is displayed each and every day! You can tell that every staff member is their with purpose. Thank you RHB!

This school jut gets better and better!!! My son is in the fifth grade at RHB and his Teachers are just GREAT!!!! It's just like the previous years. The Teachers at RHB are so caring and understanding and go above and beyond their duties as Teachers!!! They have a very exceptional way of teaching their students!!! Plus it's not just the Teachers either the Principal is like one of kids best friends and is very involved with the students!!! Last but not least is the Office Staff they are just wonderful and know the most of the students on a first name basis and also go above and beyond their Office duties and get involved with all school functions!!! I am going to be so sad when my son has to leave this school next year. If you are a parent considering this school please take my word it's the BEST!!!!! Thomas Fritz & Michele Rappa-Fritz

I like that they have high expectations for the kids! It is helping them get ready for the middle and high school years.

I had kids at this school for 7 years now the baby has completed her first year in an advanced program in middle school. RHB really prepares the kids for middle school. I found they will work hard to help kids at their level. My oldest daughter was significantly above grade level and they made MANY accomodations for her. The teachers know their stuff, the office staff is caring and the principal, Mr. P is VERY caring and is always looking for ways to improve. We miss RHB and wish all schools could feel like home like RHB did.

I feel very fortunate my kids go to this school! The principal and teachers are wonderful. BE KIND is the way to be at RHB!

What an amazing experience for my daughter. The "Be Kind" environment is just what young children need to safely emotionally grow and develop self-expression. My daughter always reminds us to "Be Kind" to others throughout the day. A strong foundation in the basics tends towards success later in life. Richard Bryan in 2012 produced this environment and we'll be happily returning for another year.

My daughter is a very sweet child, with good manners, has been home schooled and is ahead of the grade by one or two years. Not that she is extremely advanced, but rather that the level of teaching in the second grade at Richard H Bryan is incredibly low. To be doing math in the second grade of single digit numbers + 1 is simply ridiculous. And her safety was at risk as she was beat up by two bigger boys, while monitors clearly saw, but NOTHING was reported. And the principal was more concerned about hushing the incident rather than taking the necessary action as school policy dictates, the boys were never suspended nor parents notified. Really bad school. Pricipal quality was zero to say the least.

The teachers and students at this school are incredible. The teachers are attentive and will go out of their way to help your kids learn and thrive. The kids themselves are well behaved kind kids who will hold doors open for you, say excuse me, and actually hurry into their classrooms at the sound of the bell. If you're looking for a good school. This is it.
