It was terrible when I attended back in the 2000s and it seems it continue to go downhill. Now being a parent and having to deal with staff is a whole new issue. Registration… The god awful woman I have had to deal with to register my daughters on 2 different occasions needs a class on human decency. This churlish human should not be in the position she is in. The hostile nature of this woman is unacceptable and unnecessary. First I believed she was just having a bad day but I was mistaken, this is just how she is and misery loves company. I couldn’t imagine having to work near her with how she speaks to others. Organization and communication is nonexistent at this school. I have received multiple phone calls, emails, voicemails spanning over 6 months on an issue that was already solved the first time I was contacted about it. The school sent an officer to my household 4 months into this 6 month disaster after documents were already sent over with all the information needed…. The explanation I received was, “Oh, we are sorry. We didn’t know.” Yet I have proof of the multiple email sent and reply’s that they had what they needed. As a single mother with 2 children, one of which has severe mental health issues the last thing I need is for my paperwork they so eagerly demanded get lost by every single employee over 6 months of contact. Last phone call was 2 weeks ago today is 8/3/3026 and again I am interrogated with the same questions they already have all answers to. I pray that any other parent that has a severe mentally ill child not have to go through what I have to with this school. Mojave high school staff need to get their ducks in a row or hire people that will.

Some staff members are mean give attitude for no reason and taking away some stuff that students was enjoying, but not no more most of the teachers give their students too much work and it’s draining overall.

I'm physically emotionally drained and exhausted. I feel disrespected afraid sad and disheartened. I have been physically sick a lose sleep about the mistreatment I have been subjected too. At Mojave high school. Horrible

No, teacher's tend to not be supportive of students struggling academically

Leaders allow the staff that is not equipped nor having the credentials to perform certain job titles to sometimes negatively impact a child's day, even life by a small negative comment insult, or aggressively being disrespectful. Leaders need to work hard and diligently to help students succeed. That's a good leader.

How trying to get students out for expulsion without investigating properly. And having a proper. Meeting for a child on an IEP there must be change. How can a child academically succeed if they are being targeted singled out and out of school more than in school. Without proper reasoning.

Sometimes they may I believe, The staff and administration is the biggest bullies in Mojave. How do you deal with Administration and staff that bullies I know how we deal with the children? Bullying should be taken seriously by all parties. There is no special privileges for anyone who makes anyone feel other than safe and happy. I know there are employees of Mojave who bully call kid's names and tarnish their dreams by negatively saying that student will never amount to anything. Shame on you teachers, staff, administrators, and leaders.

If you have a student like I do who has a disability I wouldn't recommend this school. My son attended two days, had a outbreak(he's ADHD and ASD) and two students wanted to jump on him. Spoke to the dean (waste of time) and NOTHING was done about it. They knew who the students where but, wasn't willing to discipline them. We feared for his safety so we checked him out.

Lousy. I even overheard an administrator speaking of how bad the school was upon checking my kids in. I should've got a clue then and asked them to be sent elsewhere.

Mojave has really turned around. My children love going there. The school has many great programs for college and career preparation.

It is hard to be effective when you cannot use paper, when you are given less than the bare minimum and try to pick up the slack out of your own pathetic paycheck.

I am not a teacher, I will not presume to know how to do their job. I know some of my child's teachers assigned a lot, some a little, but it was all valuable and helped her.

When a child watches their teachers try their hardest, only to be thwarted over and over by the administrators, and when those kids are further victimized by the administration directly, those kids begin to believe there is no hope. *This* is what Mojave High instills in most of its students: Bosses will always hinder your success, adults don't accept responsibility for their misdeeds, if you dare to speak up or speak out, you will be punished.

The teachers were overworked, overwhelmed, and underequipped. The administration lazy, quick to pass the blame to the next administrator, and impossible to get hold of to deal with problems.

Technically I'm going to be a freshmen at mojave highschool, but I can say this about it this school has changed Soooo much from the past years and I'm proud to say that I'm glad that I im going to be Apart of this school next year (2016)

The registration process was unorganized, unprofessional and chaotic. spent at least 2 hours waiting to see a counselor on two different occasions and my children are still not fully in the system on day two of school. the counselor there is in over her head and you can tell by the looks of her office when you walk in. There is paperwork everywhere even falling off of chairs. while with the counselor she finds it hard to focus on one thing and rudely takes phone calls and does several other things while I had already waited over two hours to see her. I went to pick up my children on their first day and a group of about ten children where in the street trying to push a motorcyclist off his bike. they were in the middle of the street yelling and getting in the way of traffic.

This school has really changed in the past four years, After Rael has taken over you can see the students change and willingness to succeed, Overall the teachers that have been specially chosen to teach here at Mojave show amazing interest in thier students futures. the athletics are amazingly beginning to rise with Men's Volleyball and Men's track both competing in the state finals last year this is were i will be sending my kids to learn in the years to come.

Mojave High School has really changed. I am a freshman so I can only hear stories of how it used to be. But my freshman year so far has been AMAZING!! I love the teachers, staff, administration, students, everything!! I just want to say that those other reviews saying how bad it is are outdated, they're probable from years ago when it was as bad as they claim. So do your homework, MOJAVE IS AWESOME!!!
