Its really hard to learn in this school, many teachers cant control their students and make them learn and theres always drama. When it comes to drama and especially bullying the staff hardly do anything or just ignore it and just cause more fights to happen. 4/10.

I really like this school people say don't put you kid in that school it not that bad okay some of the teacher are mean but the principal are really nice just don't push there buttons don't get in trouble we don't need bad energy around are school they work really hard the try to make the school a better school the student council is helping us raising money so we can bye stuff to make are school a better place.

Hello, I am a parent of a young girl that been to the school for two years, she has been harassed by other students and bullied by two girls. She went up to the office multiple times to report the bullying, but the teachers didnt do anything about it. There has been an ongoing rumor about her. that they did not care to actually help with the girls that did the bullying one didnt get any punishment and one only got three days of suspension and my daughter got star on for like 2 months no, I do agree. My daughter fight the girl so I do agree she needs more punishment but the girls that were bullying. Her has been bullying her since November 2023 to January 2024 it has Not safety for their students Allows bullying of student to be continued and their racist to their students overall DO NOT RECOMMEND SUCH A BAD SCHOOL

I would not enroll your children in this school point blank. My sister goes to this school she is in after school music program that it always cancelled without any notice to the parents I cant tell you how many times Ive went to pick her up at the time the music practice was finished for her to inform me that it was cancelled and she was out there waiting. Last time was earlier this week and they proceeded to cancel the meeting like always not inform the parents and then kick her out to wait in the cold because no one was in the office completely outrageous. Her phone was confiscated one time and when I arrived to pick her up she told me they had taken her phone and no one was in the office to give our property back I had to wait till the next day! How can you take a childs property not inform anyone and not be there so we could pick it up. Notice a pattern? Not to mention there is not a single crossing guard on the areas where most of the children walk so they have to throw themselves into traffic and hope the cars stop and I have seen cars race though the street there is no care or regard for the children or their safety. The festivities and music performances the hold are a complete joke and money grab. Halloween was a joke no decoration no haunted house you had to pay for tickets for games that you couldnt even see where there because they were just stuff the threw together from stuff they clearly already had the food the sold was ramen cups and chipsIve never seen something like that. Then came my sisters music recital again another cheap money grab had to pay to watch her perform spent hours just waiting on the seats for the performance to start because there was absolutely no structure or guidance and the teacher who would only tell and tell the kids to tuck in their shirts could not get control of the room and would just walk away and continue talking. Extremely poorly managed! A complete and utter disaster and just a mess of a school and administration!

i go to this school and when i wanna see something about pokemon like pokemon cards guess what says it is blocked by go guardiand so can plzzzz un block pokemon because pokemon did nothing wrong to this school and why is there a one way hall way what if your gonig to be late to a class and wann go the other way it is much more easy so plzzzz can we change this

They dont care about the community, they are qualified baby sitters and not educators. There discipline process is not equitable especially for Blacks. School is a unsafe environment. Special Education department created a one size fits all IEP plan, not placing students needs first but the SIEFs schedule first! They never held a family night until the end of year award ceremony and they dont care about family engagement.

The reason why I give this school a 3 is that this school has been through a lot and this year it seems like they have gotten stricter , and the new admin have their foot down , these kids need discipline and love at same time , my daughter is in 10th grade now but attend Keller , my neighbors kids attend Keller and she informed me that it gotten a little better day by day and and I think that's wonderful, As I research the new admin that entered Keller , The new principal has it handful and I salute her for taking Keller M.S. I believe the new staff and admin can do a whole 360 with this school! Good luck!

My daughter has attended this school for two years now. She is in 7th grade now. Last year when I attended the open house teachers were practically begging for supply donations. We donated nearly $1000 in supplies as well as cash. When iPads were issued they didn't issue a charging cable with it. We had to buy one. Every other school I know of issued one with theirs. This year they weren't issued with the iPad, but my daughter has informed me they will be issuing them soon... After half the year has passed. When I pick her up I see PE classes on the tennis courts with some volley but mostly kickball balls trying to pay volleyball. Is this school so poorly administrate that they can't afford a couple volleyball nets and balls? I'm quite sure they are allotted the same funding other non magnet schools are. Why is it these other schools I've accompanied parents to have resources to distribute books to parents about how to help your child learn, are provided charging cables, don't beg for necessary items to properly teach? Not only that, but my daughter is constantly telling me they ran out of food at lunch and she has no interest in what alternative meal choice is provided. Bullying is an issue as well. I saw a girl harassing another girl to tears on their way home. When I called to report it they office personnel actually laughed! I was disgusted! The Hispanic children and parents are treated with preference, while white students and parents are treated with near disdain. If I could withdraw my daughter and enroll her elsewhere I would in a heartbeat. This is a poor excuse for a school. A poor learning environment. Very few teachers care enough to make contact if your child is falling behind or performing poorly. I've 3 children, and they've all attended different schools this is the only middle school I have dealt with that doesn't care one iota about the child, or the performance of the child. Parents I cannot express enough Do whatever necessary to prevent your child from attending this school! Use a friend or relatives address to enroll elsewhere.

I went to register my child at this school. I cheerfully said good morning to the register lady and got a response that was professional but unfriendly. She was curt with me and uninformative I felt I had to pull answers from her. As we filled out the forms she wanted at least two other times she was interrupted from her work to answer questions others asked her in Spanish and she was very informative, assuring and kind. When I again approached her I continued to speak to her in English even tho I know Spanish, yet she continued to address me with complete disinterest. I felt like a bore. I could see she was busy inputting into her computer data from other registration forms but, never the less I believe to deserve the same courtesy as the other that spoke to her in Spanish. I speak Spanish only when the person I speak to does not speak English. She needs Public Relations training and formal courtesy to all that come to her to register their children into this school. And if she is the representation of what the personal are like in this school. I wonder the attitude of the Principal to the custodian is like, in Spanish or English. Jesse

The 8th grade counselor (Ms Benson)has caused alot of problems for my family. I have never met this lady and she has acused me of abusing my chikld went as far to file a police report. As I stated she has never met me and is only going by what my child is saying.As far as I concerned I dont want my chilkd anywhere around her anymore and looking for new school..

must say this is the most horrific school. the kids were uncontrollable and this school had a HUGE problem with bullying. i reported peers 3 times for bullying, and nothing was done. the counselors gave them candy and when i told the dean about the bullying she tried holding her laughter back. some of the teachers didnt, well, teach! a worksheet a day and no learning. i really hope this school has improved because it was honestly the worst school when i attended. do NOT send your children here.
