when I was in this school it was great very nice teachers my son loves this school I love to see our children having fun at school and actually wanting to go.

Silvestri is a great place but recently there was a problem where while I was walking at the sidewalk there was some people who was beating on somebody car. they school police called and then some kid was yelling at me, they was calling me a bad word. and then they ran off and was playing around and then tried to run across the street and almost got hit and then the people was honking and it was chaos. i was basically chilling and then some kid was saying "come on, move (BAD WORD)!!!!!" he was biking in middle of road and that can cause safety hazard. and i almost got ran over. when you walk on the road or get on the bus, the service might not be that great at one point in time.

Since all the reviews on this page are outdated, here is a more recent review. I feel that this school could be A LOT BETTER. A understand that it is difficult to control a large group of students but I feel the staff should do more about things going on around the school. (Devious Licks, School Fights etc.) What I like about this school is how much they spend on the students. We have vending machines, school dances, and we can make clubs. (My old school didn't have any of this.) :)

My daughter has gone there for the last two years & I absolutely love everything about the school. They effectively deal with any issue in a timely manner. The accelerated program is great plus all the teachers in the accelerated classes will help the kids prosper. I like the fact that all the kids get a chrome book which makes the kids responsible for their homework as well as classwork.

You can get bullied when a teacher is in front of you and they still won't help. The only times they try to help you is when you are not getting bullied and it is just your friend.

Not good. First off we have to pay to get into a drawing prize which is basically lottery tickets in a school. Most teachers don't seem to have an understanding of rules as they do stuff we cant.

It is kind of like why can't you be like someone else school. When you misbehave they tell you don't you see all the other kids around you and what they are doing and repeatedly talk about him or her to the class.

They teach the same way to every student even if you ask it. If you ask the teacher will reply with I already said the directions and then repeatedly shout at the student in front of the entire class.

You can get bullied and no one would even care. The deans only care if they see a shoulder or if they see jeans with rips above the knee.

I think that they should stop overacting over shoulders and rips above the knee and actually try to learn some social skills with the students. The studnet counsil actually knows what we like and its pretty cool.

There are some good teacher and some bad ones but we need more good teachers who can also handle bad kids instead of just yelling at the whole class.

The students at this school are so immature and we as students don't get the education we paid for if the teacher is just yelling at everyone all the time.

My daughter attends to this school, this is her first year. Since the beginning of the school year she has been frustrated with the school pertaining the staff, even came home in tears. I figured it was a child being a child but I have never experienced this with my daughter with any school. Being a substitute teacher, I decided to guest teach in her school to see the staff for myself and did not tell them that I was her mother and let me tell you there are some horrible attitudes within the staff and I have no clue how and why they want to work in the school district having no social skills especially with children. I have seen teachers and staff talk down to these students, which I do not agree with. I have worked with children for years in and out of the school and I have never spoken to a child in such a manner with disgust and disrespect. Seems that they purposely nitpick on these students. I was just in awe of how immature the staff is. But I have no complaints with the principle, he seems to really care for the students and want them to have a fun learning experience and if he sees there is a personality clash with a student and a teacher, he will switch that student to a different class, though I cannot speak for the rest of the staff. After my experience I have spoken with the principle pertaining my daughter and a teacher, he immediately placed my child in a different class. Since then My daughter loves her teacher and is having a better time.

I understand that a teacher cannot help every student but it seems teachers are just coming for a pay check rather than taking the time to help a student.

The employees seem miserable working here. Website is out of date and has false misleading information. Asked to speak to principal and was nowhere in sight. The whole school looks disorganized. Wonder where all the money is going? No class schedules till first day of school. What a mess!! So disorganized.

my daughter go their for 2 years and she loved that school but now she is a freshmen but my son is also going their in 6 grade this year . my daughter was really happy about it because she knows that school is the perfect for his brother

Moving from TN. I was concered about the school my daughter would be going to.Charles Silvestri has made this transaction much easier than expected. My child has excellerated in her classesand her teachers are amazing. Good teachers and caring teachers have mafe all the difference in the world. Thank you Silvestri teachers. Silvestri is definitely a 5 star school.

I have been in this school 6th, 7th and 8th grade. This school is a good but not the best. I'am an njhs (National Junior Honor Society) member and it has very talented students. The teachers were amazing but their were some teachers that weren't so great. The orchestra and band teachers were excellent! Also many others teachers. This school helped me progress as well as others. This school has a lot of negative kids and that is expected anywhere you go there will be people that don't try there best and don't really care. I use to be the one that didn't care and now I'am an A and B student. If your looking for good teachers that stay after school to help you and pretty good kids this is a good school. It may not be the best but it has what you need. Hope this helped you!

Dean has been the worst school district I've had my children attend very rude when trying to discuss a simple matter with me and continued talking over me and would not let me finish my sentences. I was not trying to argue but he turned everything into an arguement.

This is the first year my kid is attending this school and so far he hates it. I don't blame him for this. Some of the policies they try to implement are just absurd. One of the policies i'm talking about is the tardy policy. Please let the parents do the life teaching and YOU concentrate on teaching the school subjects. Your views on how kids should act on society are not 100% of what it should be. THAT'S your OPINION!!! I am all for education and boy do we need it here in Nevada. Instead of concentrating on made up policies please concentrate on educating and the parenting to who it should be (the parents). So far its just been a quarter of the school year and i will post as the year goes bye. I like to give second chances.

Some of the WORST behavior I have EVER seen! The children pass through my neighborhood vandalizing property and using language that used to be limited to adults...or sailors, I should say. Even after having contacted the school repeatedly, there has been no resolution to my complaints! I would NEVER send my children here, and discourage any prospective parents against it!

Should be 0 stars, the staff seems too busy working an fixing computers to care about quality education. They seems obsessed with technology and emails. They seem to want technology to teach kids and not teachers, no wonder the local news agencies report layoffs in the district while they are spending a million on Ipads.

this school is great. some people are rude. but other wise its fine i just want to go back now im a some ugly ghetto middle school called nicolet in california i really want to spent the last of my 8th grade back at silvestri before i go to high school sometimes i wish to my self i wish i could get held back... to stay at that school lol but its a really nice school compareing to this others school u can have your PHONES, at lunch but if u go back their near the end it would be weird yeah or no hellpp me plzz.
