My girls started at Bass the beginning of January due to school zone policy. Being that was last minute and they were only Kindergarten and First grade I was a little worried having them attend at a new school. Through the process of transferring them, the front office staff has been nothing but kind helpful and very welcoming. On my girl's first day I got to do a walk thru and was able to walk my girls to their classrooms. Prior to walking my Kindergartener to her class I was greeted by her teacher Mr. Finney. He was a very nice man and I could tell immediately that he was passionate about what he does and takes pride in what he do. He shared his goals for each of his students and welcomed my daughter into his class with open arms. He reassured me just by his plans of teaching techniques and his years of experience that my daughter would fit in perfectly and she would be fine. And he was right! He did an outstanding job with helping my daughter progress and improve cause she was having quite a hard time the beginning of Kindergarten. Since she started here every day she comes home with new things she's learned and was proud to share how much she knows. He is the best!!! And I'm grateful for his passion for teaching. As for my first grader unfortunately I didnt get to meet her teacher. Her teacher was on leave and so she had a substitute for the rest of the year. But as the weeks and months went by, my daughter gained a lot (knowledge, friends and the happiness of being in her class). And she looked forward to going to school. Unlike her prior school she was going to, she never wanted to go cause she was scared of her teacher after an incident that happened to her. But not here, she loves it there, so its nice to see her love for school is back again. There's so many activities for the families to do together on days they have a school event. I enjoyed going to many of them. One of the many things I was very pleased about is how they get parents to be involved. From volunteering in areas that is needed during school hours or for school events. They have a new principal Mr. Gilmore he is awesome! really friendly and involve. All in all my husband and I are so happy that my girls are little Bass Bears. They are looking forward to being in the Second and First grade. And can't wait to go back to school. Summer just started. Hehe!

My daughter has been there 6 years and what can Isay but AWESOME!! From her Kinder teacher, Mrs. Jodi Collins to now her 5 th grade teacher Mrs. Sanders to also her GATE teacher Mr. Michael Smith, my daughter has grown intellectually as well as a person! We are grateful that she had this experience here at Bass!! Thank you everyone and also Mrs. Boccia-principal for 6 great years!!!

My daughter is in kinder in Mr.Finney's class and has learned so much and loves everything about this school .I'm a proud mommy !!

My daughter has gone to this school from kindergarten to now third grade, and we've had great teachers every year. The principal Mrs. Boccia is wonderful! I've been very pleased with this school.

my son started Kinder 2013 and i love his co-educators, he has two teachers Davert and Yachzee are amazing combination of educators, my son was shy and cried and they were comforting. they have a great system for helping the kids make learning fun. school is tight but is under construction and a new building is underway.

This school is awesome. I completed my full 5 years here and loved it. The staff is extremely helpful and the school is practically brand new. I would prefer this school over any elementary school in Las Vegas.

My child was a student at this school for 2 years at Bass. The only reason why she no longer attends Bass is because we moved out of state. I positively LOVED this school. My daughter still says she misses it every day. Her Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Collins exceded my expectations because my daughter was reading (and reading well) by the end of the year. The staff makes time for parent concerns, and are sensitive to the kids needs. We miss Bass, and plan to visit when we're back in town.
