I would absolutely recommend AGAINST enrolling infants/toddlers in this facility. Our son was injured several times within a period of a few weeks. The last injury being traumatic for us. The way it was handled has caused us great distress. We do not want any other toddler to be hurt due to their negligence.

Great!!! The preschool class sizes are appropriate. The teachers are educated. The grounds are clean and welcoming. While the curriculum may be little soft on academics for some parents, it excels in the social-emotional aspects. Kids learn to share and be good neighbors.

My child is special needs and I'm aware of many accommodations that were made to include them to the fullest.

Our child was potty training and we were told she would be in a classroom w/ other 2 yr olds who were potty training. We toured the room, met the teacher and students & all was good. A week before my daughter was to start school, we dropped off the initial payment and forms just to be told that someone had made a mistake & that she would be in a different classroom. We were a little bothered, but decided to make the best of it & toured the 2nd room. On the day my daughter started this daycare we were told AGAIN that she was put in the wrong room by mistake & she would have to be in yet another classroom where there was no potty training!! We had no choice as my husband & I were heading off to work that day but we were livid. The teacher assured us that our child would be taken to potty only if she asked. We spoke with the director who was apologetic but asked us to give it a chance. So we did. Huge mistake, my daughter asked repeatedly to go "Potty" and her words were disregarded. She regressed in her potty training & here we are 2 weeks after pulling her out of that daycare & still struggling to get her back on track with potty training. I would not recommend this place!

Mistakes were made with our classroom & our child was put in a different classroom than the original one we visited. In the end, our child had Ms. Kimmie (15month to 24 month old classroom). Each day of the only week our child spent there, the daily report had the same times for 'applied sunscreen' and nap time and what she ate. The daily reports were almost a carbon copy of one another. It made us feel like we really had no clue what was really taking place. For some of us parents, those daily reports are a big deal & should be as close to accurate as possible. We only kept our child there a week because of this and because there was really no learning taking place (at least in this classroom).

My family moved to Summerlin last summer and we initially enrolled our 3 year old daughter in a different Preschool/Daycare. However, the experience was horrible and after doing some research found Shadow Hills. We took a tour with the Director and were immediately impressed. We switched our daughter that day and have been happy ever since. The teachers are fabulous and the kids in my daughters class are all really sweet and well behaved. The school even organized a fun Valentines Day Daddy Daughter Dance which my daughter and I attended. My wife and I had a new baby in December and have since enrolled her in the babies room. It's been the same great experience for her as well. Highly recommend this school.

My daughter has been going to SH since she was 4 months old, she now is almost 3. Every teacher my daughter has had has been amazing! Ms. Janet is so compassionate, understanding, a god send. Ms. Tina, Ms. Tanna, Ms. Olivia, Ms. Syndey, are just a few of the great teachers my daughter has had (I know I'm leaving out a few -- I'm so sorry) but honestly all the staff are exceptional. The environment is very clean, all the staff are open and honest about recommendations (potty training tips, naps, bottle weaning, terrible two's, ect) I feel like they are almost like our second family! We drive 20 miles round trip, across town to take our daughter here, I wouldn't change it otherwise. If you thought about taking your child to SH, please do, you will not regret it, in fact you will fall in love like the rest of us.
