My daughters have been in the school since kindergarten and PreK and they are now in 3rd and 5th grade. They have had a good experience overall. I have never seen any bullying or racism at this school. Teachers have been great except for this year we had a teacher that seems to really dislike smart students and makes my daughter feel bad at times and also doesnt really know anything about the Catholic Faith. But this is one teacher in 6 years at the school. All the rest have been really great. All in all I would say that it is a good, safe place to have your child. I wonder if some of the negative reviews are from parents who dont want the school to get too crowded.

I went here as a child. This school did not support me what so ever. They decided I wasnt smart enough to stay there. I am now a teacher at a public school. I just want to say, dont judge a book by its cover and support the children.

Our kids love going to St. Elizabeths. They love their teachers and their new friends. We moved here and were afraid of the transition but wanted to continue in a Catholic School. Littles announce that Jesus is Coming before Christmas. Warms your heart. Gracias to Senora Martinez

Never felt welcomed at this school!
My son was having focus problems during class and the school recommended that we seek an evaluation with child find to further help assist my sons learning needs, so we agreed to it and set it up. Well, we were called unexpectedly by the school to have a meeting and they decided that they actually could not assist my son and called him a special needs child before even getting an actual evaluation and diagnosis for ADHD and made us withdrawal him immediately. He had no prior behavioral issues at the school. We were under the impression that they would be supportive and see how they could further assist our sons learning needs after the evaluation. Child find was also very disappointed after they heard that the school just threw us out even before allowing the 4 week evaluation to be completed!

I should have payed attention to the reviews. This school is so racist. The bulling and racism is real at this school by the administrators and teachers. There is so many other schools in the valley you can send your child to. I will be pulling my 5th grader out of this place and put him somewhere else that doesnt single you out by the color of your skin. Its 2023 and so unbelievable that this is what is going on at any school.

Parents warned us about this school and we didnt listen. We tried this school for a few years and regretted it. We withdrew our child due to bullying and racism and then learned that our child was a YEAR behind in academics. The school protects the bullies so they dont get sued. This school cannot keep Administrators or Teachers because of this. Discipline consists of threatening to call metro on your child. If your child is going into Middle School they wont get an opportunity to choose different classes they are interested in for High School. They barely have any clubs or extracurricular activities. They still share the school with PreK-5. Save your money for High School or College!!

Do not waste your money on this school. They cant keep teachers or administrators. Bullying and Racism is a constant. The school doesnt research bullying and racism problems within the school they just believe the bullies. So the problem continues on. Your child will get a better education and experience at a public school with teachers who actually have a license to teach. If you have a child in middle school you need to send them to an ACTUAL middle school to get the experience and more opportunities to learn other subjects. SEAS doesnt have much for extra curricular activities. Save your money for HS or college. Your child will be happier elsewhere.

This has been quite a good school. We now have a K and 3rd grader whove both been in for now on their second year, and they are learning appropriately. Evening homework is appropriate. Im glad to hear that my 3rd grader is expected to learn actual facts about the world, and has committed to memory his act of contrition. They are doing common core, which makes for some odd math questions, frankly. But if you are an involved parent I think your child will learn what they need. One thing I am paying for here, is the environment, and an element of religion and common decency expected. My oldest is a sensitive type, and had the usual anxiety when starting last year, but eventually made ground and over the course of the year felt right at home. This would probably only happen if there are enough respectful kids in the class to choose from. The principal has a PhD and communicates well, and all of our teachers thus far have been great. You have some people at the front office who are not terribly personable and seem tired or overwhelmed, but these things are often unrelated to the classroom experience.

Atrocious. Principal has a bachelor's degree. No Master's Degree; never taught a day in her life outside of CCD classes which are only an hour long; doesn't understand assessment; zero experience teaching. You can't have an instructional leader, a principal, leading a faculty if they have never taught nor attended any formal training. A retired principal who never got a Nevada administrator's license or teaching license runs the school from behind the scenes. This results in an outdated philosophy of education. Her lack of administrative license from the State of Nevada means she does not stay current or have the knowledge or expertise to lead a school. We could not be happier with our experience at SEAS. We have one child in SEAS now and three more will attend when they are old enough. The teachers, parents and staff are amazing. While we love the catholic education that our child is receiving, there are many different faith's represented at SEAS, and all are welcomed and respected. I would highly recommend this school for anyone looking for a well rounded, faith based education, with great leadership, parents and children.

This school has been incredible. It is the only Catholic School in Summerlin and provides a quiet, peaceful learning environment that my children thrive in. It is cheaper than most of the other private schools in the area. The students are challenged so that they are ready for the rigors of high school, especially Bishop Gorman. My kids tried a charter school in the area prior to coming to St. Elizabeth's, and the charter school didn't even hold a flame to SEAS. This is one of the best schools in the Northwest, if not all of Vegas.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School assigns the perfect amount of homework. It does not monopolize a child's free time or burden the parents, but it does reinforce the lessons from the day and cements the knowledge into my kids' brains. It is more than just busy work and I have seen big improvements in my kiddos.

SEAS goes through a rigorous hiring process to bring in highly qualified folks. We went through a NORMAL turnover process over the summer (guess what, that happens every year!). All positions were filled at the start of the school year and the teachers are doing great.

You don't have to be a Catholic to attend this school. The same values of loving your neighbor, being a good citizen, and working hard to achieve success in life apply to all children. The appropriate amount of homework is assigned to my child. Now that hes in middle school a little more homework is given for each of the subjects. I like that the school is preparing our children for high school by introducing class periods for the different subjects. Students are taught to be responsible by managing their time & looking up homework assignments on the portal. Parents also have access to the portal to ensure children are keeping up with assignments.

My children (1st and 3rd grades) have about an hour of homework each night. It is a mix between printed math and language arts pages and online quizzes and exercises. They also have a nightly reading requirement. The parents set the amount of minutes that is functional for the child and the family. I receive a weekly homework sheet from their teachers and that helps us plan our evenings around sports, music lessons and cub scouts.

The teachers are intelligent and are reachable outside of classes. Special shout out to Mrs. Bertram, Mrs. Andes and Mrs. Kajioka!! They utilize incentives like dance parties and treasure chests to keep the students focused on the classroom goals and good behavior. Many teachers are vested in the success of the school because their children attend as well. They oversee many clubs and activities, and new ones are easily made.

My son tells me that the beautiful art around campus and inspirational bible quotes on the hallway walls remind him that Jesus is always around. That in turn, reminds him to think about what comes out of his mouth and how he treats others. Teachers stress the importance of accountability and responsibility for their work and the students are very motivated. I have had many interactions with Helen Silva, the school principal. She is warm, fair, and hard focused on achieving positive results! I can share that she is approachable, visible around the school (especially during drop off and pick up) and is open to feedback from the students and the parents.

My son came to SEAS from another private school in Las Vegas. I was concerned that due to his advanced educational aptitude that he wouldn't be challenged enough with the curriculum. In partnership with his teachers, he is being pushed and challenged to new heights! The SEAS touch, with their incredible faith formation component is creating a complete, well-rounded, god-loving, young man.

I like the fact that children in middle school can look at their homework on their portal in addition to having homework posted on the white board in each class. It would be great to have all teachers use the portal. Not all students have the same learning style and might not be as quick taking notes that are presented verbally vs. in writing.

If this school couldn't teach my children to read or write, it would still be worth twice the price in the manner in which they are helping to develop the students as people. (to clarify reading and writing is going swimmingly) The support of the school in solidifying character traits that are crucial to living a good and decent life are evident on a daily basis. In this category, I know of no school (and I researched them ALL) which does better.

Ms. Helen is strong, yet also gentle. She speaks kindly but also effectively to the students. She is also able to converse with decency and respect to the parents. Some of the programs she has implemented have been very well received by students and parents alike- Monday morning flag and prayer with parents, holiday parties as a class, 'fun' events like Daddy daughter dances, movie nights, etc. I have been impressed with her efforts at SEAS, and hope she will continue.

My daughter is in the second grade. On a typical evening, she is required to read every, journal, and complete an English and math worksheet. She can complete these independently, which indicates to me that the homework is truly to reinforce what they have learned that day. At the end of the week, she brings home all of the work she has completed in class. I am constantly amazed at how much the class accomplishes during the school day.

In my opinion, the teachers are top notch. MThe wonderful thing about SEAS is that it is truly a community. My second grade daughter knows all of the teachers at the school and is always excited for the following year because the teachers in the next grade are always so nice. Her first grade teacher has become like family to us and her current teacher is just as amazing. The children have multiple specials starting in kindergarten which means they are learning from instructors who are extremely knowledgable in their subject. Specials include PE, Art (the art teacher is so talented), technology (the teacher is a fellow SEAS mom), music, Spanish, library, and religion. The teachers are very accessible. We feel like each and every teacher loves all of the children and has their best interest in mind at all times.

I can say without a doubt that this school is teaching my child all of these virtues and more. For example, the children attend mass every Wednesday. The older children are partnered with the younger ones to help guide then through mass. The older children truly look out for the younger ones. I am extremely impressed with how seriously they take this responsibility. They are wonderful role models. I have been able to attend mass on a few occasions and it is truly moving to see the children worshiping together. The school will also have service projects that demonstrate compassion and charity, such as food drives for the food pantry. These are experiences one cannot put a price on.

Father Bede and Mrs. Silva truly care about the children and providing the best education possible for the children. They are very accessible to the children and parents. My daughter loves both of them and we are very grateful for all they do for the school. They are extremely humble people so I think some people may be unaware of all the amazing things they do for the school. As someone who is at the school volunteering on a regular basis, I see first hand the amazing things they are doing to provide our children with a great school.

Teachers try hard to accommodate everyone's needs when possible. Because SEAS is a private school, this can be accomplished without all of the red tape that is typically required to accommodate special needs at public schools.

My daughter has a medical condition that causes her to look different. I was extremely apprehensive about sending her to school for fear she would be bullied. Our experience has been the complete opposite. The children are so accepting and supportive of her. Because I see first hand how kind the school is, I would be shocked if bullying was ever an issue Yet, I have no doubt if it were, it would be addressed in the most appropriate manner.

This is our 7th year at SEAS and we LOVE it! Every year our children come home the first day of school saying that this year's teacher was even more awesome than last year's. Like any school, not everything is perfect and change can be difficult to swallow for some but positive attitude equals positive results. My oldest child started middle school this year and while many teachers are new to SEAS they all bring experience, positive attitudes and work in harmony! SEAS works closely with Bishop Gorman to make sure our children are prepared and transition effortlessly into high school! We are SO HAPPY! Go Pelican Pride!

If you are looking for a day care to drop your kid off to, then this is not the place for you. If you are actively looking to be a part of your child's education than come to SEAS. Every teacher I have encountered have cared greatly for my kids. The teachers and principal are easily accessible. Growing up in a Catholic School myself I am so pleased for the catholic education my children receive. Lot's of clubs, sports, and activities to get involved with. Also, I am one of those parents that believes I need to be involved in order to help make a difference. This is not just at home either. The school gives you every opportunity to be involved from volunteering in the lunch room, class parent, or sitting on various committees. The school does a lot of fundraising and it's why we have an AMAZING campus (only catholic elementary and middle school in Summerlin). No one that I know has ever been shamed for not participating beyond their means. They continue to invest in the school-new music program, science lab, etc. I highly recommend SEAS.

The school's leadership is in its second year, and had to stand strong against a group of parents that wanted to let the tail wag the dog. The parents were invited to find new opportunities, they were allowed to leave their reviews below, and now the community is functioning at a much higher level. The leadership received glowing reviews during last year's routine accreditation process and test scores were some of the highest in the Valley!

Like any endeavor, it's successes have fallen subject to those that choose to criticize, but it only takes one tour of the school to see that its a truly great place to educate your child. There are many open cases of children being bullied, with very little being done to intervene. Moreover, there are some teachers who are terrible in the way they treat the students. In fact you'd be hard pressed to receive a response from the principal, pastor or superintendent of schools once you have brought it to their attention.

This was once a wonderful place to send your child for education and faith formation. With poor pastoral leadership, the school has effectively been run into the ground. In a climate where there are charter schools popping up left and right, SEAS has failed miserably with making it a competitive institution for education. The continual turnover of teachers has shown that the leadership here is not on par. The catholic education here is also lacking. With their implementation of the Catechism of the Good Shepard, (CGS) the students only receive religious instruction 1 day a week in the CGS room and it has shown to be futile in teaching the children about their faith. You could send your child to an after school faith formation program without paying an astronomical tuition for next to nothing! Nepotism runs rampant here as well, so beware.

The current principal Helen Silva offers no formal background in education or administration. She was the former director of the school's Faith Formation department. She was only appointed principal after the pastor did a half hearted search to find a qualified candidate once the former principal "resigned". When his search proved to be unsuccessful, he promoted Helen to the position of principal where she now serves as his puppet.

The school does not have adequate support for students who may be struggling. It's a one size fits all learning style here, and if you have a child that falls behind, there is not intervention services offered here on a full time basis.

It was a great school and hard to get into. Now it is a joke. Helen is a horrible principal with no educational background or experience. How is this possible!? Teacher turnover is crazy. They continue to raise the cost each year. They nickel and dime you for everything even a free dress day. And the money doesnt support the school! It goes to the pantry or church. If you see the name Helen as principal, save your money and stay away. Pay for a school whose leaders have the right credentials.

Many teachers are not qualified to teach. The new Principal does not even have a college degree or any school/classroom experience. Five teachers have quit mid-year this year and were only at January. These were eel respected teachers that did not approve of a Principal that was not qualified.

Many of the children are bullies and nothing is done about it. The report a bully system does not work as no one of authority takes bullying seriously.

I have 2 children at Saint Elizabeth and have had nothing but positive experiences with both children and their teachers. We consider ourselves fortunate to be part of the SEAS community where there is a solid foundation of faith and academics!

The state of Nevada State does not require Religious-Exempt Licensed School teachers to hold valid Nevada State Teaching Licenses. However, I know the principal tries hard to hire and retain Catholic teachers that have valid teachers licenses. Here are the facts about the staff:

We really like the community at SEAS, and have found the principal to be exceptional. He is decisive, forthright and open to parent concerns. The curriculum followed is the Core Knowledge sequence which was created by education giant ED Hirsch. We are excited about the school's future direction as they've made teacher salaries competitive with CCSD, and plan on constructing a new science lab, new art class, and new music class this summer. Plus they are adding more staff back in, and a Director of Curriculum. These are welcome changes that will make the school more competitive in light of the recent explosion of charter schools in Las Vegas, as well as the new law, SB302, which gives parents a voucher in Nevada. The school is raising tuition by about $400 annually, which still puts it well under the average operating costs for CCSD schools with better results. There has been some staff turnover at the school and some cutbacks in teaching positions, however, the raise in tuition is meant to cover those gaps as well as the new construction. The school is attempting to be more financially self-sufficient, as the previous pastor subsidized it when it was first built at ultimately unsustainable rates. He was also a crook (look it up in the LVRJ), so the diocese and new pastor is trying to correct the situation that they were handed. We are Catholic, so we love that this school provides the faith frame of context for my children's education. Plus, I was pretty happy with my son's Terra Nova test scores, too. The one star deduction was for the parish's lack of communication with parents which has lead to a rumor mill by some, but the parish's recent State of SEAS address where all parents were invited was a step in the right direction to fix that. We will be returning next year.

I think there is a huge confusion between TEACHING CREDENTIALS (degree in education, Bachelors or Masters) and STATE TEACHING LICENSE.

Possessing a VALID State License is much more important because first and foremost it reviews and scrutinizes every applicant's educational transcripts to ensure they have completed student teaching and methods as part of their teaching credentials, the state also tests every applicant to ensure they are qualified to teach in the content areas they are credentialed in, pass the Department of Education thorough background check, and take mandatory continuing education courses in order to renew the license every few years.

Each state has their own version of a teaching license, so if someone moves from another state, they must obtain one in Nevada.

CCSD, Charter, and all quality Private Schools (Meadows, Dawson, Day) require EVERY teacher to have a VALID Nevada teaching license. Catholic Schools do not require one, because it would cost them more money in salaries to hire them, because these are true professionals licensed to teach in the state of Nevada.

Most SEAS teachers have a college degrees in education, some do not. A few have Masters degrees (those with doctorates no longer work there).

It is very easy to verify as parents by going to the NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION WEBSITE and selecting Teacher License Look Up. That is exactly what we did and found the teacher my child started the year didn't have one, yet the principal said all teachers did when we enrolled, he also said art and music were full time. We later found out the teachers may be full time employees but my child was NOT getting a full year of art or music. He has a way of answering questions to fulfill his agenda to get kids enrolled, then parents find out they have been duped. WHAT A SHAM OF A SCHOOL

Both my children have been extremely well-formed in their faith and have learned responsible citizenship. The school works very hard to impress upon the children that their faith does not stop at the front door.

I am uncertain how such misinformation is perpetuated. However, as a parent of 2 children in the school (one is at BGHS now), I know my children have received the highest quality education available at extremely competitive rates. A prior reviewer state tuition was going up $6-7000 which is patently false. It is going up $40/mo; which is still far below comparative schools. As to teacher licensing, I know 3 have National Certification (only 260 in the state) and most have at least Masters degrees and even Doctorates! We have never been happier! Our son is excelling at honor's level in high school and that is due, in large part, to the excellent preparation by SEAS. Keep up the good work!

As parents of a 2nd grader, we recently heard about the 'State of SEAS' and in the 3 years we've been here, it continues to degrade in quality as the school sinks heavier into debt. This week the principal read from a script and showed a slideshow attempting to compare SEAS to high end private schools; yet had no proof to substantiate his claims. How many teachers hold valid Nevada teaching licenses at SEAS? Very few are left, because most of them left in the past 3 years when they saw the school imploding from within.
We did learn tuition is rising up to between $6000 and $7000. It will now be wasted on an art room for a subject only taught part time (brilliantly illogical change made this year to save money along with eliminating Library which was taught by a licensed teacher) The other money saving change of doubling up computer and library didn't work out either, because that teacher quit after realizing the double duty was ridiculous. So my son went from a licensed computer teacher who left last year to a new teacher who quit after 5 weeks to a substitute for the rest of this year. Where is the savings if a contract had to be bought out and a sub has to be paid?

Also why construct a science room considering my older child never had a state licensed or qualified science teacher for the year he wasted in middle school before we withdrew him?

We simply cannot understand how a school that increased class size to 30, cut and rearranged the specials, and increased tuition (blaming heavy debt) would within months plan major construction, while continuing to claim they have never operated in the black since opening, despite an endowment left by the previous pastor. We never could get a straight answer from the school principal or pastor.
So glad this is our final year at SEAS, we will get through our son receiving his sacraments, then move on to charter school where most of his friends are also going next year. SEAS continues to degrade in quality and debt. We will keep our Catholic Faith, it just will never include faith in the Catholic School system.

If you didn't believe that April 2015 review, here we are nine months later and the State of SEAS continues to degrade in quality as the school sinks heavier into debt. Nothing SEAS or any other diocesan school has to offer compares to a Meadows or Day School.

Very few, because most of them left in the past 3 years when they saw the school imploding from within. How many teachers are licensed at Meadows and Day? They all are. Those schools, along with charter schools, follow CCSD and the state of Nevada teacher licensure policies to ensure their students are getting quality education by professionals.

So as the previous commenter said tuition is rising up to between $6000 and $7000. Save your money. It will be wasted on an art room for a subject only taught part time (brilliantly stupid change made this year) and science room that also isn't needed considering my kid never had a state licensed nor qualified science teacher for the year he wasted in middle school before we left. We agree that no amount of money will return SEAS to its prestigious reputation.

Very few teachers are licensed. There has been turnover continuing even this school year with more staff and good families. The projection for next year from the principal is that tuition will once again need to drastically go up to well over $6000.000 Are you kidding us? For what? He told us the school is heavy in debt and yet plans to start construction on art and science rooms. The only thing we see is the diocese mismanaging every school they run. We started at OLLV before moving to SEAS and have watched this place implode as well. Such a shame that SEAS was once comparable to Day School and Meadows, but no more. Goodbye to Catholic Education being reputable, charter school here we come.

We chose a Catholic education for our children and that is what they are getting at SEAS. We believe as parents we are part of this school as we are part of this Parish. Our children our growing in their Love of Christ and love for their neighbor along with their love for knowledge. If I may also share a personal thought with other parents this school as with all Catholic schools is to be participated in not consumed just like our Church. We as a family feel blessed to have this school for our children.

This school is falling apart. The administration is useless. The teacher turnover has been increasing every year and sadly the students are suffering. The latest Terranova tests scores are a reflection of how bad the school has declined. We can not get our child out of here quick enough. When you start considering public school in Las Vegas over SEAS it is a really sad, sad state. And the nepotism and politics here are a whole other can of worms not worth opening. Do not enroll your children at this place if you are looking for long term academic success.

We have had our children in SEAS for the last three years. We find the recent reviews to be in line with our experience. We have found no "smoke and mirrors" within this school. Our experience has been just as we expected; great teachers and staff, a principal and assistant principal who are proactive and very open to any concerns parents may have, and a curriculum that best prepares our children for high school (SEAS has the highest acceptance rate for Gorman than any other school). As for the volunteer hours, what is wrong with being involved with your child(ren) at school and church? As for those parents who find themselves too busy to volunteer why not give back to your school monetarily? It is better than taking time for juvenile courts, fines, etc. I would think. Parents these days are too much in the "it's all about me" style of thinking rather than it's all about my child. SEAS is attempting to make parents present in their child's education. To us that is above and beyond. SEAS is still the best bang for the buck.

We're proud to be SEAS parents. Once a SEAS, always a SEAS. "We're " graduating , as our youngest child will now be heading off to high school. "We" , because we're like family . SEAS is like our home for education . Many of our family members have graduated from SEAS. Proud to say , they've all have progressed & have or attending great high schools ( magnet & Bishop Gorman) , & universities. SEAS is not perfect, but again nothing is . Good education is achieved through combined efforts of the educators & family. We've seen staff come & go, but ultimately it was us the parents who were responsible . It was us who guided our children. Education is good as well as the overall attitude & behavior of the children . Yes, there were children who've had behavioral issues, but they've always tried to address them. As for expenses, it's something beyond anyone's control in today's economic climate. Dr.RB has done an excellent job !. I'm just glad for the great work of the SEAS team ! Ultimately, this is all about the children . God Bless !

My daughter is currently finishing up kindergarten at this school. She has not really complained about her teachers or curriculum but I do find that the level of math problems they are doing is not what I had envisioned. My daughter has been in after school tutoring at kumon for the past 2 yrs now and her current math knowledge is just not lining up with the basic shapes recognition which this school has her currently doing. I feel as if seas math for kindergarteners is more for preschool aged children. Another concern of mine is the recent news that changes have been deemed necessary for the upcoming school yr which entails school program cuts, increased classroom size and increased tuition. The parents should've been pre-warned about this before they registered their children for the next school year.

We've had our son at this school for 2 years now in elementary grades. I'm not sure about some of the negative comments, but we've had a good experience with this school. The teachers have been kind even if some are strict (it is a Catholic school), and responsive to questions. The atmosphere is one of respect. The campus is beautiful with excellent security. We attend this parish which is a large one, and there is an active core of parishioners that participate in many activities. The financial situation is published in the weekly church bulletin, and we've never seen any announcements for parish members to party at any casino. We also know the clergy here, and they take the children's faith formation seriously at this school. The curriculum is well rounded and the content is strong. The one concern I have is they have been mandating parents to volunteer for a minimum amount of hours annually. If if you can't do the hours, you pay a fee for those hours. The tuition overall is more affordable compared to other private schools in town. Overall, we've been happy with this school in its academics, activities it has to offer, and overall atmosphere.

This is a great Catholic school. Curriculum is strong and my child has thrived. Students are very welcoming and courteous to their peers. Teachers and the administration are very professional and caring and make an obvious effort to educate and enrich their students lives. Community is welcoming to new families. Campus is very secure, clean and conducive to a learning environment.

We moved our son from an out of state Catholic School last school year and had a heartbreaking experience with this school. His teacher had a very negative attitude. Even with his great test scores, he was constantly bombarded with behavior issues with an F in conduct despite being described as respectful and kind by the teacher. He was constantly getting reprimanded with behavior issues such us not flipping to the correct page or unable to follow 1st time instructions. His teacher emphasized that there is no time to be a kid in a 4th grade classroom. The principal did not recommend any assistance to improve the situation but just asked to have our son tested for special needs. My son had very low esteem so we moved him to a public school last Nov. 2012. After we emailed all his teachers and principal that we will be moving our son, we never received a single response from his teacher or principal. We felt that the school did not lift any finger to help our son. We both graduated in a Catholic school so we were surprised with this experience. It is a shame to call this school a Catholic School. Thank God, our son is doing great in his new school and happy with his new teacher.

My child attended St. Elizabeth from K-8th grade. It is a great school! It is a lot harder curriculum than most other Catholic school, a lot of homework, but the kids get a lot out of it and test scores are higher. Middle school teachers are great! My child received excellent education in Math, English, Literature, Science, Social Studies & Religion. They really prepared my child for Bishop Gorman High Scool. Dr RB is a great principle too. Very dedicated teachers & staffs.

My child is getting a challenging education with the Core Knowledge curriculum. All the teachers must be state licensed and most have advanced degrees. Dr. RB has brought in a new wonderful guitar program afterschool and has been a breath of fresh air compared to the old principal who retired. The scores are the highest out of all the Catholic Schools and the campus is beautiful. Technology is up to date at SEAS and 5-8th participate in the laptop program.
