Our son was going to that school 3 days a week from age 21 months until a little after 3 years old when we moved to another state. We had done a lot of research and visited numerous schools in the area. We were very happy with the school. Our son bonded easily with his teachers and although there is a high turnover (like most pre-schools), the school makes a great effort at keeping continuity for the children in many ways. Our son was always very happy to go to school and often was not happy about leaving. He learned English there (we speak another language at home) and made many friends. Melissa and Jessica, the 2 ladies at the front desk, oversee the operations of the school. They know all the children personally by name. The teachers and the ladies have always been very approachable and helpful when issues arose. I have found them to be honest and respectful and we were always able to find common grounds and a reasonable resolution. Also, the school is in a nice area and has lots of natural light. The school was very accommodating to our needs when we needed to change days of attendance for example. They are open and honest so you can always approach them with issues or concerns in our experience. It has been almost 6 months we have left and our son still talks about his teachers by name (in particular Monique, Shantreece and Tanya). They are a positive souvenir for him.

The teachers are great overall, however their levels vary a lot and yes, unfortunately like many other preschools, there is a high turnover of teachers. However, in our experience, there was always at least one of the teachers in the class that would provide continuity every time another one was leaving. One of the teachers whom had left came back after her personal life got straighten out, which I believe is a good sign.

According to what we have witnessed, all children are treated the same and when there is bad behavior, they are good at redirecting and having the children reconcile. They are very positive in their approach.

The 2 women at the front desk (Melissa and Jessica) are overseeing everything in the school and are always on top of things. They know all the kids by name (and more). I always felt like their leadership was very effective. Although the owners are around, it seemed to me like they were dealing more with the administrative part of the school while Melissa and Jessica are dealing more with the operations of the school.

They are great with that. The teachers always showed a caring attitude towards all children and they will get support from the front desk if they need to focus on one child for some reason. They even over did it in our opinion with one of the kids whom seemed to have developmental delays and was sometimes aggressive with the other kids including ours. They provided him with a lot of extra support even though it did not work out in the end (the kid ended up leaving the school, not sure if the parents took him out or the school decided they did not have the resources to help him). Either way, I thought it was very caring that they tried to integrate that child and provided extra support to the teachers in order to do so.

They do intervene effectively. Sometimes they missed things when they were busy.

My children have been attending Kids R Kids Green Valley for 4 years now. The teachers are caring, they address issues professionally and offer outside resources if necessary, and have a great mix of technology/imaginative play. I am very pleased with our experience, and would recommend this center to others.

Inexperienced teachers, I addressed my concerns to the owner and instead of notifying the teacher about a parents concern, the teacher's actions were justified. I watched the 2 yr old room teacher play with her cell phone for hours instead of interacting with the children. there is no set curriculum in place. If you are looking for a school, look elsewhere. This is only a daycare center! My child's teacher lacked comprehension of the English language and was very immature when I brought up several issues to her. This place would rather post notes on the door, instead of verbally communicating with parents. What ever happened to a simply phone call to a parent? I shouldn't have to read the classroom door in order to find out about what's going on in my child's class. This is my 1st and last bad experience with a school. I will defiantly do more extensive research before placing my child elsewhere. My advice to other parents, is to always do your research, no matter how seemingly nice things may appear inside. Don't choose a place just because they have cameras. Make sure to read the reviews online from others that have experience with the school or daycare.
