This school isnt that bad but I feel they have a problem with teaching. There are some teachers who just give quizzes and tests , without any direct lessons. Teachers who do that need more guidance in teaching, I shouldnt have to fend around to see what I have to do honestly. These teachers need a plan, and the teachers who actually work; thank you.

I'm currently a 7th grader at this school and its very inconsistent. Since we are back from lock down after 2 years, all the students with pent up anger are creating fights. The administration does nothing but send them to in house or suspension. My friend has been to in house and she says the teachers don't even care about what you do. You can be on your phone there and it has good wifi and your lunch is expanded after lunch b. Recently, out of nowhere they checked "every 13" kids backpack but me, as a black person was the 8th person there and my friend who was right in front of me who was white wasn't the 8th person. They checked my bag without a warrant and even took my two sharpies that I forgot I even had and didn't give it back. It was scary especially since we never did this before. They hadn't even tell us why. It took up all of my breakfast time. The only good teachers here are Mrs. Fowler, Mrs. Wusterbarth, and Mrs. White. They are the only teachers that seem to care about students education.

I honestly like this school. It may not be the best but I've met so many amazing people here and so many amazing teachers. I also met my current girlfriend. Yes, it has it's cons, but it's not all bad. Most of the kids here are super sweet and nice. There are just the bad kids that make this school look so horrible.

We don't get much homework and when we do we aren't given much instruction or help with it.
Posted: December 10, 2019
I feel as if most teachers at this school have no idea how to handle the behavioral issues that students are having. The teachers do not correct students if they are acting up.
Posted: December 10, 2019
Our student council members aren't the best example for our school. They choose kids who are mostly in 8th grade instead of kids who actually want to do good for our school.

The school doesn't do anything about bullying. They make you and your bully sit face to face and apologize to each other even if you haven't done anything wrong. And after that if the bullying continues they don't do anything.

As a former teacher at this school, I really can't say anything good about it. My kids went to this school several years ago before I taught here. It was an okay school when my kids attended here. As time went on, standardized test scores were low and it became a Title I turn-around school. They got new administration and many new teachers. That is when I started at this school. You'd think that the new administration would turn this school around. But they made it much, much worse. The way I saw it, the administrators are always working against teachers instead of working with them. Students are out of control because they are learning that bad behavior gets them rewards. The "bad" students know that if they behave badly, they'll end up in in-house and do nothing but play games all day. They make pacts with their friends so the entire group of friends get sent to in-house and they all have a field day. Basically they are learning that bad behavior gets them out of doing work. It is the wrong message that the administrators are sending. I really hope that Bailey becomes a charter school and they can fire everyone and start over from scratch.

I substitute taught throughout the district. I was able to make headway in almost all other district schools. The day I substituted at Bob Bailey, however, I was unable to get anything done. The students were openly hostile and made a concerted effort to hold up the lesson plan and to insult me. Because it was so bad I brought it to the attention of administration. They were unable to help out, so I left and never returned. Bob Bailey is the only school I would completely avoid in Clark County. It is an experience I will always remember.

I think teachers need to work in tandem with administration to bring the students under control.

Administration does not enforce rules about behavior. Teachers are left to fend for themselves, and the children wear their teachers down.

Students do not complete homework anyway, so the teachers give up and don't assign homework.

This Middle School is beyond reproach! The majority of the Bailey population student body choose to do nothing more daily than to harass and to bully their teachers in attempts to steer and manage them and lie to the Administrative staff all day long about everything. Students norm is to exhibit wildly outlandish behavior issues hoping to wear Instructors down so as to intimidate them in order to gain control by threating and abusive plots. All day every day- there is little to no quality academics taking place here, rather it is simply more only a juvenile corrections institute for wayward urban sprawl and teachers left largely to fill out incident reports in hopes of seeking protection from repeat offenders if they end up becoming physically attacked. The status quo here should be changed to that largely of a behavior school rather than a general education middle school.
Parents: should you remotely even value your child's education, safety and future please do not enroll him/her as a student within this middle school amongst these social deviants and degenerates. If you are a Teacher or support staffer - beware and reconsider taking any assignment offered at Bailey as it is not worth the risk of destroying both your mental and physical health over working here with these at risk students who are intent on harming you!

I'm very unsatisfied with this school how can they suspend kids for no reason or for things that dont happens in school its just ridiculous how they suspend my child for been in a place where there was a fight and he didnt have nothing to do with the fight and its also ridiculous how they supsend kids for been late to class thats why kids keep on been late to class because they know they will get suspended so how will they think they will learn by getting suspended. They talk about tardiness! If u have an appointment with the deans and your there on time and they dont talk to you after 30 min how can they suspend the kids for been late if they are doing the same thing

I go to Bailey middle school I'm a student this coming up year is my 8th year and uv read a couple of other reviews and yes the are fights, there was even a fight on the first day of 6th grade but it didn't really matter I think it's a great school and I would even let my kid go there all you have to do to stay out of fights is to just don't let the bullies get to you and no, I'm not saying that if someone hits one on puppies and was trying to hurt you then yea call for help while you calling for help don't just take the hits make them stop like trip them or something but then there's the teachers some are nice but there are mean ones but they mean well for you and the teachers teach pretty good but sometimes gives you too much work but just do it. It's a nice school and your very welcomed to it on your first day.

This school is garbage! The principal does not care about the students at all. The administration plays favorites and uses the specialists to run errands for the her. The Literacy Specialist is a joke, she did not pull-out students that needed help with reading even one time the whole school year. The school failed last year and is now a Turnaround school and hopefully this school will get the strong administration it has lacked since it opened.

The first day i went to this school. It was terrible. Fights everyday. Some teachers just give you a worksheat and say "do this its due at the end of class" and half the time we dont even know what it is. Some teachers are there for you. Others dont care at all. And the other kids there. My god. They are horrible! If i were a parent i would immediatly take them out.
