This school disrespects students, dehumanizes, and embarrasses them. Students are too busy dealing with bad staff and poor student peer judgement. It is full of drama and definitely not bully free, all complaints and reports to administration are completely disregarded.

My daughter loves this school. She feels accepted and supported. I have had wonderful interactions with her instructors. We are so happy AACT is an option in our school district!

This school is not what it says it is out to be. The staff are horrible, they tell you one thing and when you do it get you in trouble because they don’t get their way. Very ineffective “solutions “ and very inconsiderate staff. This school is a disgrace

The teachers are both kind, and helpful. The students are college ready and professional, but are still able to act like kids. The school offers Career and Technical Education classes, which give college credits to their respective degree's field of work.

A school that focuses on learning beyond the normal curriculum. (This is not a charter or correspondence school.) It has pushed my child to succeed beyond any of my expectations. She is a straight A kid and will be graduating with AP Honors. She even has college credits already secured. High graduation rate (98%), Merit Scholar, NASA program, STEM classes galore, Skills (aka: VICA) leadership elected from this school...etc. The kids have to earn the right to attend this school, giving them a sense of belonging and success. Check it out!

Best kept secret in Washoe County! 98% graduations rate. @ merit scholars in 2014. Engineering Acadamey received the coveted "Buzz Aldrin Award". Principal Sullivan named Principal of the year in Washoe County. Not a charter or trade scholl. This school focuses on the students to excel not only academically but allows the students to "major" in their field of interest.

This school is really one in a million. They focus not only on your education but how to present yourself, that everyone is the same. The teachers here have passion that burns so bright, you can see it in the students eyes. This school having given me and many others so much hope. We are the kids that come from everywhere, poor or rich, outcast or not, we stand as one. We take pride in our school and understand that this is for us to succeed in life. The staff is not only amazing but its like our family. I wouldn't trade this school for the world.

The principal and teachers are amazing. Teachers love teaching AACT students. Principal hands on and attends Parent Booster Meeting. The parent involvement is incredible. My son is a student here. He loves it. He has attended GATE program since elementary school and is being challenged academically at AACT. The school focuses on academics and college attendance. Students are required to maintain a high GPA to continue their education at this school. Students volunteer in community programs. No disciplinary problems at the school. Truly a safe school. 7 Academies, such as Medical, Engineering, Culinary, Child Development, Media/Comm Arts, Business. Students job shadow in their related field. Engineering Students compete in a Nasa Moon Buggy competition (google it). Engineering fixes up donated bikes to give to underprivileged children. I can't say enough about this wonderful school.
