My son got thrown up and karate kicked. He came home and showed me the bruises. I talked to the staff and no one cares. Also my son almost got his EYE ripped out because some kids thought it'd be funny to do so. Do not recommend.

School has set for what kids they want to help and what kids they want to push out. Staff is unpredictable and unprofessional at the highest level. Melanie poster the principal, allows staff to break rules and guidelines, Never holding staff accountable for their disgusting behavior and actions. My student has been verbally abused multiple times by staff. You reach out no responds. This school has showed enormous amounts of discrimination and racism. The amount of stress they put on these kids is unbelievable. School can't even follow their own core values. I do not recommend your child going here.If you want your child to be cheated with respect as every human being should be.

my child was attending this school and was in the soccer club before a teacher came to him and dropkicked my kid and my kid was not small he is like 5 foot maybe taller and after kids started bulling him and was kicking him on the floor and when he grabbed his phone for help to call us a teacher grabbed and broke his phone and when we when to the school they blamed it all on my son and my son got detention never letting any of my kids come here again.

This school has so many fights and unfair rules and the 7th grade social studies teacher is bent backwards she becoming what she’s trying to teach against.

This school is very absurd in learning respect and etc. These buses are constantly late. Kids had to stay at school until 4:00 pm because there weren't any buses. I WISH FOR MORE RESPONSIBILITY AND TECHNIQUES.!!!!!

This school is horrible. The staff is lazy and do absolutely nothing about the busses that are late and the other many mishaps!!! I regret my childs time here.

It’s not the school it’s the people that work for the school it’s the staff that chooses to spend less time attending to to helping the children instead of ridiculing children and criticizing the children and having favoritism in children, I would not recommend this school for anyone to send their child The staff is disregarding of parents feelings. They’re disrespectful verbally aggressive, and disregarding of the opinion of parents when you have a principal that think they can do as they choose without any consequences and then they have others to back them up. I don’t see how the staff and the parents can ever come to a mutual agreement for the best interest of the child when no Staff member think that they’re doing anything wrong . When you have children that are not mentally aware of their own needs and unable to express themselves in a meaningful way and have documented concerns and they’re still not being treated with respect, dignity, and with caution and it’s been looked at as if they are just a problem child it’s very disheartening. Frustrated, You send your child to school to learn not be bullied not to bully anyone else although if you’re being bullied, physically, emotionally tortured and no one is there to help you then you feel like you have to defend yourself and when you do that, it may not be in the way that the school or the principal and the staff may agree with but the environment and the unhealthy decisions and choices that the adults made for the child and put the child in made it unbearable for the child to feel safe and to feel secure and to feel like they have someone on their side to support them remind you the parents are not at school, so when you send your kids to school it’s up to the staff to make the child feel like they’re safe and protected

I started to attend this school back in 2017, now it's 2019 so I wanted to say that this school is okay. But, there's a lot of uncool things going on. In 2017 and 2018, there was careless principal who don't care about fights, and etc. But, now in 2019, there is the awesome principal ever! He changed this school's behavior, and a lot of stuff. When he arrived, the students began to become respectful and kind to the staffs but some don't change. I'm going to be in the 8th grade in this school, I can finally get out of this hellhole but I'll truly miss this school though. Give this school a chance! :3

Okay this school is by far one of the worst schools I've gone to (I'm going into 8th grade) and I can say its horrible many of the teachers don't put any effort into teaching but some do . Also there's very bad language,I've seen some use drugs,ditching. And it's seditious lot horrible that many of the staff take no effort into there job. Not only that but the principle, dean and vice principle have missed calls and conferences with my parents. To me it seems like all the staff care about is getting a paycheck. Also many classrooms are overcrowded . I could make a list .

I really don't think that this school is one of the worst my son has been attending this school for the past 2 years and these past 7 months has been horrible my son has begin grabbed by a teacher ,has been sexually assault and nothing has been done the principal,assistant principal,and dean's they just don't care about the students.

This is the worst school in North Las Vegas. It starts from the top down and the principal at this school clearly doesn't care about the students or the learning. She clearly just wants to collect a paycheck!! The communication from herself and the staff is terrible, they have dropped the ball concerning my child's education by not following up with calls, not following thru with paperwork, etc.

Caroll M. Johnston is a very , very highly professional environment for your child to learn and develop their basic standards for exceeding in today's Academic and diverse Economy. The teachers their are very dedicated and determined to get your child the skills they need to succeed in their lives. The policies and dress code help focus kids and teachers in the learning, not the looks. It is a great school for you to put your child/children in and i am proud to say i have made 3 of my children attend this school and they have succeeded.

This school is by far one of the best schools I have worked at. Our administration demands constant contact with the parents of students. In fact, as noted in other reviews, communication was poor with parents in years past. This year, the admin decided to take action, and has it made a difference! The community is more involved! I enjoy coming to work! I feel supported and surrounded by a top notch staff! Every teacher is concerned about student progress! Every teacher works hard to promote student achievement! We are in constant trainings and sharing what we learned!

I am another parent who is very frustrated with the communication aspect of this school. Last school year (2008-09), my husband & I constantly asked for updates not only for grades but for our son's behavior in the classroom but we didn't get any--even if he was sent to the dean's office! They were willing to keep him on the basketball team until he brought his grades up. Fine...but I pulled him off because his grades and his attitude was pathetic! Hopefully he'll do better when we move in the Fall 2010.
