Highly recommend Center Street and all Herricks Public Schools. Our 2 children did well due to the caring teachers. They do care about test scores but that is not their only focus. This district is challenging and the high school curriculum is harder than most colleges. Almost all graduates do exceptionally well in college.

This school has issues with aggression and initiates confrontational situations in front of children. You do not have the right to approach people aggressively and for the purpose of critisim. If you have a petty issue, go to the main office. This school does not take responsibility for their poor behavior. This conduct has been noted of both staff and parents. It is off putting and no one owes you a response if they are not prepared for it. Stop initiating confrontation with other parents and maintain your self control. There have been more instances of communication initiated for critisim than for effective friendliness and rapport building and that is bullying. Do not interrupt someone else's day with your nonsense. No one owes you a response. Lots of work to do at this school.
