Students are allowed to degrade others which includes other students as well as staff. Staff do not what proper behavior themselves in how they treat all students equally. In-order for students to learn what is correct behavior toward their fellow man, staff members as well as administration needs to demonstrate this at all times.

The entire staff is not just there to pass the students off to next grade but there for the students overall growth. Take the time to set an example for students ant but not trying to emphasize gender identity. Students are trying to find themselves without being bombarded by teachers and administration in trying to put their beliefs of their gender on students. Be an example and mot make an example.

The balance of curriculum is lacking at ACS. It seems that STEM is not important at ACS but it is important in all other district in the USA. Every field uses STEM and it is becoming more diversified as the years go on. STEM is not just about Robotics but about every part of our lives now. This district does not provide advanced classes that would enable our children to be prepared for college if that is the case. AP Biology, AP Physics, Pre-Calculus, Forensic Science, Geology and the list goes on. The district teaches the basics and does not go beyond in preparing our children for their future. It spends more money on putting another baseball field in than it does on enhancing a diverse curriculum to prepare our children for their future.

Students are allowed to bully other students as well as staff with little repercussions to their behavior. If bullying is allowed in any form, the bullying behavior is reinforced and will only continue to escalate.

This district is not preparing our children for a future by providing them with the best teachers available. The district is more concerned with hiring teachers whom are related to others on staff or on the school board than providing teachers whom are well prepared to give our children an excellent basis to excel at school and life. There are so many extremely qualified teachers in NYS and many are even veterans whom are not even considered for even an interview at ACS because they either don't have the right last name or are not from the area. ACS needs to do what ever is best for our children not for someone's family member. The district needs to not just prepare the students for a life but prepare them for a better life with the best staff to enable this.

I went to this school k-12, I loved this school growing up. I have nothing bad to say because this school makes you feel you are part of the community everyone helps everyone out. Now that my child is going to school there he had a few bumps to start but the teachers. principal, counselors, and everyone involved in my sons education we more than willing to get him set up so he can have the best learning experience. This school is more concerned with the individual child and how they learn and does not make the child conform to their learning style. I love the fact that my son is not just a number, and the call and respond if he have any concerns with my child education and well being within the school. All I can say is love this school.
