My children just started in Pre-K and K - the teachers have been excellent. Very focused on making great humans & encouraging school spirit. The teachers & Principal know my children's names which amazed me. Kids are excited about learning , science, nature, technology. There is a gorgeous library. Cant say enough good things :)

Our experience here was mediocre at best. Mineola is such a wonderful area but the school is not serving the community to the best of their ability.

This school is fantastic - the teachers are so willing to work with the kids they understand the kids and even in 1st grade they test the kids on their individual level and not bunch them up. The Inter murals are great - many after school activities - from Mad Science to FAST introducing the young minds to various things. Love Ms.Fiorentino who is my sons teacher, she takes her time to work with him without getting frustrated.

I was a member of the first graduating class of this school, in 1947. I remember it very fondly, from Principal John Waterbury down to the four teachers i had there grades 5-8: Miss Crapser, Mrs. Query, Mrs. Joyce Poland (who got me started toward the career goal of science), and my only male grade school teacher (whose name I've forgotten). The music program was active back then also, and I moved on into Mineola High into orchestra, band, boys Glee Club, and the Chorus. It was a great start to my life.
