No joy at the middle school, prison vibes here. There's little to no good electives, it's all tech driven, not every kid likes coding & fab lab is such a garbage class. Math is math but the ELA, Science, & SS, classwork is not engaging and very unchallenging, kids become bored. Not enough writing and all reading done on ipad. Kids don't receive report cards until 7th grade. Scores have definitely gone down here. Kids are on a screen all day at school then again for homework. There is no discipline, kids are very disrespectful. We need new board members who listen and will change things, I'm disgusted.

One of the most nurturing schools in the district. Post below seems subjective, teachers are on top of any situation when they see it and if they are told it's handled instantly, I know firsthand. There's also Dignity report info all over the district webpage. I really enjoy all the clubs, sports and classes they offer here. It's what you make of it while your time is spent here. The only thing I don't like is the new AP's choice in classroom and summer reading material. It's on the gloomy and low end of literature because she seems to like cultural picks. Another thing is how separated still the dual language kids are from the non, I rarely see anyone who isn't dual and haven't been since pre-k. Most are here for the feather in their cap saying they have a bilingual diploma or need native language classes in order to pass. My experience is it has been is very clicky. This school provides the students with a lot, it's nice, the electives are great here!

The school sometimes doesnt even notice when a kid gets bullied, I was called gay for 5 ish months and when a sub teacher finally noticed she said she would tell me teacher (I guess this isnt the school but Im putting it in here). The kids that called me gay never got in trouble. The school doesnt even send good punishments. A kid copied my friends homework for 6 months but when he was caught he only got 2 detentions and 2 lunch detention but he shouldve at least got a 2 day suspension. The same kid hit me in the groin 2 times (on purpose) and when he got a punishment he got a suspension for 1 day and he said it was better than being in class. I guess this isnt the school but one of my teachers gives WAY too much homework. She has favorites and Im ok with that but she should at least not make it SO obvious. She also calls kids out like this Dont do this just like how ____ did. I wouldnt recommend this school but Im just a kid but its your choice.

Amazing school! So far our favorite in the district since Meadow. Great teachers and staff! Lots of activities provided for students by the school. Work is still graded with 3-letter codes but happy to see report cards now! Lots of opportunities for kids here, nurturing atmosphere,would recommend.
