We love this school and have chosen to keep both of our children here for middle school, even though they were both accepted to and offered seats at City Honors School. For us, that decision speaks volumes about the quality of this school and the experience it provides.
What truly sets this school apart is its intentional, exceptional sense of community. We have seen firsthand how that strong community has positively impacted our childrens confidence, growth, and overall success. Students, parents, and teachers form genuine connections, creating an environment where everyone feels known, supported, and valued.
Over the past six years, we have consistently found the teachers to be deeply invested in each childs developmentnot just academically, but as whole people. The school does an excellent job balancing academic achievement and assessment preparation with the life skills and character development that help students thrive beyond the classroom.
Weve also appreciated the growing number of extracurricular activities, enrichment opportunities, and sports programs available each year. Our only wish is that the school extended through grades 912, because we would gladly continue our childrens education here through high school.

NPCS #50 has been a blessing to my family. My three children have all attended this school since pre-k and sending them here was one of the best decisions I have made. This school has supportive and caring staff which has led to the academic success of my children. They are thriving academically as well as socially and emotionally. My children love attending NPCS #50. We see friends around the neighborhood and at local businesses. The staff/parent communication is second to none. The teachers and administration go the extra mile to make this school successful. We are grateful for all of the extracurricular activities such as sports clubs, after school, music/theatre/orchestra as well as the many planned together events. I would highly recommend this school to anyone that is considering it for their family.
