My daughter is in her 2nd year at The Academy Charter School - Uniondale. Like most families with school-aged children, remote learning has been both difficult and challenging. However, under the leadership of Principal Avin, the entire Academy - Uniondale community has worked to make school fun, engaging, and rigorous for all students. All of my daughters teachers have been amazing. My daughter is reading above grade level, excelling in all subjects, and in spite of the challenges brought on by COVID, enjoys school and can't wait to return full time. If you are looking for a school that has a caring community, is serious about closing the achievement gap, and is committed to preparing students to be tomorrow's leaders - The Academy Charter School - Uniondale is the place!
