My daughter has had disingenuous teachers. They are more concerned with testing and homework that actual learnig.

Some teachers seem like its a chore to be bothered to interact with the students. My daughter has been pretty lucky but not all of her friends and neighbors have been so lucky to have a teacher who cares about their students.

Bullying is high in this school. My daughter is constantly bullied and pleas to the administration falls on deaf ears.

Their anti-bully program is not effective and just for show. They have a growing problem and it needs to be dealth with now. Students are suffering and we as parents feel helpless.

I went to BSMS for 3 years. Overall it's a great school. Highlights include Launching Pad, the amazing theater program and the 8th grade field trip to Washington DC. Most of the staff is great. The nurse is not very nice and the deans enforcement of the dress code is not always fair. They are very good handling problems that come up like bullying. I got a good education here.

Administration is horrible. Some teachers were okay, others not. Bullying is a HUGE problem here and all you get is lip service from the administration. Oh, and don't air your grievances at school board meetings - it is definitely remembered and used against you.
