My family just moved to this district a little over a year ago. My child has some mental health issues and needs some extra support and accomodations. In our old school district this has never been an issue. My child has NEVER been in trouble and has always done pretty well in school. As soon as we moved into the district and my child started attending this school is was nothing but a problem! Constant bullying and sexual harassment. School and staff did nothing! Grades declined to failing in every class and no help was offered even though my child repeatedly asked for it. I even talked to the school counselor, teachers and principal and requested help for her and those requests went unanswered! They kept giving me the run around when I requested a 504 plan for my child! They ignored any and all requests from my child's doctors about accommodations. Then they started targeting my child and finding any little excuse to suspend them for an excessive amount of time for the supposed offense. One more than one occasion I have been able to prove my child did not do what they were being accused of and provided physical proof. They did nothing but call me a liar and extend my child's suspension. I have spoken with many parents in the district and have been told once they see a student an issue or anything that could impact their reputation they force them out. After multiple meetings with the superintendent and assistant superintendent I finally gave up and transferred my child to a private school! DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE! DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS DISTRICT!

There is so much bullying and racism at this school. ItÂ’s known for it. If you are a minority avoid purchasing a home or moving in this area. Do not send your kids here. This may be one of the worst schools for racism and bullying. Shame on the parents shame shame shame for teaching your children racism and how to be a bully.

My kids have both excelled in this district and this school! My daughter has had growth and maturity both socially and academically. we had a rough start to middle school with my daughter and the staff (teachers, counselors and principal) were all very patient, understanding and helpful and now shes doing wonderful. their special ed program is outstanding!

I have nothing but the best respect for this school, these kids excel in the academics, they are the best of the best. The athletic department, band, etc... groups are so advanced in their abilities that I find it hard to have anything bad to say. My 2 children love this school and are looking forward to high school!
