Wasn't impressed with the technology at this school. Seemed very far behind in upgrades. Moved to West Hempstead where they put hundreds of thousands of dollars into technology to teach kids for the next generation.

My child attended this school, I have to say that it has been greatly undervalued, in the sense that it is much better than others have made it out to be, the school is not average it is well above average. If you want your child to succeed in school and enjoy their time in the school while they are look no further than NHP memorial.

Nhp-gcp school district sold out our kids to big pharma 8 hours mandatory masking policy. Parents disapproved but their input wasn't taken into consideration by dictator board who unanimously voted to force masks on all students violating our freedom of choice.

Great community-really comes together in times of need. We are happy with the education given and the classes that are offered at the school (i.e. Sports & Entertainment Marketing for 10th graders, Architectural courses, Finance, etc.).

This is a good school in a five school district. We have been happy with most teachers although there have been a couple of duds. They should look to spruce up the place a little and get parents to follow traffic rules when picking up and dropping off their kids. We are happy with the education given to our children.

Hopefully the NHP Memorial staff will implement the CCSS (Common Core) in such a way that it is beneficial toward future goals of the students, thus preparing them for prosperous careers in STEM or other careers.

NHP Memorial HS is a good school for advanced students and those who need special resources. The average student sometimes gets lost in the shuffle. My child lost out on additional help because we did not receive the Math State testing scores until late October when it was too late to change his entire schedule to squeeze in a Math lab. Other school districts had their scores in August and those students who needed extra help had it incorporated into their schedule before the school year started. This has affected my child's placement in Math each year afterward. The new principal is excellent. As soon as a problem is noted, he works on resolving it. His door is always open to the parents. However, there is not enough parent involvement. Attendance at PTA meetings is low except for September when new parents attend.

I attended this school back in the early 2000's. On the down side, I didn't feel like I got the individual attention I needed in certain classes. My mom, aunts, uncles and brother all went to this school but after some of the things I saw happen there, I don't know if I want to continue that tradition. I feel like certain incidents were "swept under the rug" so the reputation of the school and the students involved would not be tarnished. On a better note, certain teachers I had really made the class fun and entertaining as well as educational. There are a few great teachers there who made my experience at the school much better. I also think their Academy of Finance program was very beneficial. I learned a lot from it and it looked great for college. That is definitely a program I hope they continue.
