There is multiple reasons I put one star. One is they only care about the girls, and by care, I mean they only pay attention to and favor over everybody else. Another is we basically only get mandatory breaks off, and don’t really have any days off like snow days. The food is ok and has an ok portion. Some teachers are nice, but some are also kind of mean.

This small community school is one of the worst in the area. Students are held to the highest standards, with lack of help to reach those standards. Teachers have poor attitudes toward classroom learning and kids are bullied by both students and staff. A child will be successful here, IF you fall into a certain category; it is who you know period. A majority of the students parents either work for the school or make generous donations, those are the ones who will be happy, successful students. My advice would be to look elsewhere, there are other good schools in the area.

Excellent Principal for the High School Mario Fernandez. However Middle School principal is very unprofessional wearing tight short skirts. High school VP definitely likes to harrass and bully the students. This school tracks your students so if you have a student in A level they will not have classes with B or C level. Not a lot of clubs, lot of bullying by students and the aides are on power trips....screaming at kids. I felt this school de-moralized students, much better schools in neighboring areas (Schuylerville) as well as wonderful private schools.

Mediocre school with much better school district options in local area. Teachers are competent and generally appear enthusiastic. Small district size limits resources and community support is marginal. Stillwater offers very few extracurricular options for students not directly involved in school activities so there appears to be many "wandering" youths in the village. No sports or park field available off campus within village walking or biking distance. School staff is defensive if district policies are critisized or suggestions for improvements are made. Better local choices elsewhere.
