Maplemere is a great school. We love the diversity - kids from many cultural backgrounds and socioeconomic situations makes for a better experience with cultural sensitivity as well as building friendships with people who may not look like you or practice the same lifestyle as you. The staff is SO caring, and they work hard to make sure our kids get what they need to thrive. They are a Leader In Me school, and from the earliest grades are teaching the kids the 7 Habits (Be Proactive, Be a Problem solver, Think Win-win, etc) and how to apply them in their lives. This is carried on into the later grades as well. The special ed support is OUTSTANDING. We have experience with support at the elementary and middle school levels, and feel that our kids have gotten what support they need when they needed it. Many other parents I've spoken to feel a similar way to me. This is a wonderful community, and we are so glad we became a part of it!

This school has left me great memories and a wonderful childhood here there wasn't really any negativity at all but the drug thing that we had was more than a little repetitive. I am just sad that this isn't a continuous school spirit throughout the district

The school has a program that is called Paw Pride and it is a positive reward system for upstanding behavior and school Spirit.

It starts at the top. The principal of this school knows her children, her staff and everything that goes on each day. She is a hands on leader who truly has the best of intentions with everything she does.

I've substitute taught in this school a number of times, and had a fantastic experience every time. The faculty is extremely welcoming and helpful, the building is clean and well-run, and the kids are so polite and well-behaved, it's almost scary. There is something special here, it is definitely one of the most underrated schools in WNY. I'd send my child here without any hesitation.

I love Maplemere. The teachers and staff are friendly and professional. The principal is very active and involved. I can get an appointment right away for any concern. The PTA is really active and do great things for the kids. The ladies in the office are always welcoming and helpful. My kids are doing great academically so far. Maplemere rocks!
