North High School is a bustling school that hosts a vast number of students. Many are pushed to be high achievers, and their AP/accelerated classes pose a challenge for smarter students. The school is slightly overpopulated with a large number of students belonging to the (enl) program. But overall is a good school for students out of the 3 other schools present in the district. All teachers are dedicated and trustworthy. Overall, a good school with some slight flaws regarding cleanliness and overall organization.

This is a first rate high school with first rate teachers where a motivated child can receive a superior education. I am a 1976 graduate and my three children each attended. I would compare the scholarships awarded per capita with any public or private high school on Long Isaland
