As a former student at this school, I have mixed feelings about the school's aspects and teaching methods. While most teachers are polite and good with children, there are a few who should not be working with children. The school incorporates parents into their children's learning experience through the "WITS" website and providing their child with a one-on-one device (a Chromebook) for completing school tasks. Additionally, a technical advisor is available for questions and device repairs.
The school offers an abundance of extracurricular activities, including extra homework help and sports opportunities. The turf in the back is split between middle and high school, allowing students to spend outdoor classes during the warmer months. However, the school is not perfect, with many teachers being sexist, such as in gym class. Additionally, the school heavily relies on students to supply classrooms, and some classes require extra supplies for teachers.
The school's food is disgusting, which I do not recommend for incoming or returning students. Two aspects of the school that I am neutral about are bullying and the guidance office. While the school is a public school with rich students, there is likely to be some bullying, which can result in, In School Suspension, Suspension, or lunch detention depending on the severity.
The guidance office is also neutral, with the women being kind and helpful in discussing issues. However, there is an appointment requirement before showing up, which caters to one group over the other, the LGBTQ+ group. This is a new topic to many, and it is not fair that one group can walk in when they feel they need while other children have to wait.
In conclusion, if you are moving to this area and looking for a school for your child, Casey is a good choice. However, your child's experience may differ from mine, and the school may not be the best fit for your child's needs.

I think that this school teaches you plenty but does not teach you skills for high school or for life. Also, most of the teachers are very sexiest. I cannot stand how differently the boys are treated over the girls. This may sound very childish but when you experience it, it's just annoying. It is not uncomfortable in any way, just annoying. Although all those problems, the schools teachers (most of them) are very nice and if you have a problem or if you just need to talk with out going to guidance they can help you out and help you through your struggles.

Casey is a great school, the teachers are kind and so are (most) of the students.
The only problem Ive been having with teachers is that a lot of them end up being sexist (not in a way where its extremely offensive, just enough to make us uncomfortable.) Ive noticed that some teachers just rely more on the masculine students to help lift things or answer questions. I honestly shouldnt use sexist to describe this, I think stereotypical would be a better word.
As for students, its the same drama that happens all the time that we cant really stop. Kids are gonna be immature sometimes and all we can do is ignore. Though, there is a bunch of sexism, racism, and homophobia in Casey. The kids are all joking but it is something we can prevent from happening by teaching them how wrong it is to be sexist, racist, or homophobic as it does end up hurting individuals.

There have been several meetings of teachers and their students' parents but to little conclusion. Unless the student is severely in need of services, there is nothing any of these teachers appear to be able to do to differentiate. Unacceptable and shameful.

While the attempt might be there, it is NOT transparent and the only source of character development is at home... Not an effective way to teach our children.

When Mr. McGreevy was at the helm, things ran smoothly. If there was ever an issue, he took care of the student and the parent, and made sure there was clear communication going forward. Now, it seems as if one hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing and no one is taken care of--not the student and not the parent.

As a parent, educator, and firm believer in a strong education that teaches the entire child, I am very disappointed in the quality of education this district has provided. From apathetic teachers to those who border on burnout, with a few exceptions thrown into the mix, this new leadership and the Casey name is NOT what it used to be. In this age, where the field of education is criticized and undervalued, I am surprised, saddened, and thoroughly confused as to why a once wonderful district as Williamsville, and an excellent school such as Casey was, allows to call themselves a premier district and a school of excellence, respectively.
