My rating of this school would be a 2/5. The Administrators are often held to lower moral standard than the student they discipline and some of the teachers are downright awful. That's not to say theres no good Administrators and no good teachers, because they do exist. However, their reputation is degraded due to the filth they call colleagues

Most courses are adequate when it came to teaching me the basics to continue my education and leave with an understanding of courses that made my high school diploma mean something. As you can see from the scores though, the math department is lacking and this school should look to replace the earlier level math teachers that stunt student development. Mrs. P who teaches trig was amazing!

Whether you are an athlete or simply a student, the inconsistencies in disciplinary actions based on the popularity of students and the paycheck of their parents is questionable. One creepy teacher who taught photography and Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) made it a habit to give the girls that happened to be prettier than most back massages while they worked. Not only does this distract other students but i can imagine it is very creepy to the students that a preyed on by this individual.

While this school does support student with learning disabilities, the aids that take care of the these students regularly complain to both students and faculty about the difficulty of managing the individuals they come to work to care for. Furthermore, i've seen one student have multiple outbursts and it is not managed effectively. From the aid yelling "shut up" to children with learning disabilities to literally dragging them out of the classroom, i felt that even though these students may be difficult to manage, they deserved a bit more respect for that and i felt bad for the students that had to be degraded by the faculty whose job it is to protect them and keep them on track of their school work. Then on the opposite side of the spectrum, theres students who a have disabilities to a lesser degree, but are not monitored by an aid. Because of this, one student in particular with learning disabilities made it a habit to punch other male students in their private parts, with no repercussions, and the school using the disability as an excuse for the students behavior. In short, this school needs to find a solid middle ground, while also taking the time to evaluate how much a student with learning differences needs to be monitored and held to the same standard as other students.

Bullying is probably one of the biggest problems on campus, while hazing is common on all schools, it is exceptionally present at this one. Not only do students get attacked on campus, but when they do the admins are quick to force the student being bullied to share the blame for the action of the aggressor. The school won't hesitate to make a victim feel like they were at fault for being bullied.

The school refuses to do anything to help our child. We have contacted our child's teacher and guidance counselor for extra support. This rural has very low standards for success and inadequate support for those seeking to help their children. Parent involvement in academics is strongly discouraged.
