I have two children who attend WCE. My experience as a parent has been positive. I feel like my kid's teachers have been caring, influential, and involved. The administration is supportive and willing to take a call or a meeting with you. I feel like my kids are safe here and I have no problem getting them to school. They're both pretty happy here.
As for learning, I've noticed that you have to advocate for your child or they will slip through the cracks. For example, one of my children has been struggling with reading fluency for two years; even when it's brought up and discussed at conferences, there hasn't been any contact from the school about intervention. However, my other child, who is a bit of a distraction in class, has garnered multiple phone calls and notes home from the teacher.

If your child has an iep or learning difficulties, then this school is the right choice for your child! The special education teachers are amazing! They care so much about the students. This is only my sons second year at this school (we move often, being a military family,) but its the best school that hes ever been to. Not once have these teachers brought up to me or shamed me for not medicating my son (as his last two schools have.) They focus on ways to help the child learn at their own level and celebrate the little things with a lot of positive reinforcement.
