HANC Plainview is an amazing school. My two boys have grown so much there academically (in both English and Judaic Studies) and socially. The school environment is warm and friendly. The staff members are well acquainted with all of the children and vice versa. Children of all ages get to work with one another on school projects making this a real "family" school.

HANC Plainview has been a very good choice for us so far. We are new to the school and the administration has been nothing but welcoming. Our kids really enjoy their teachers and are learning a lot.

All of my children have attended HANC since 3-year-old nursery, and my oldest has since graduated and moved on the HANC's middle school campus. Each of my children received a fantastic education (both secular and religious) in a warm and friendly environment. The teachers and staff provided my (very different) kids with an excellent academic education, while instilling in them the importance of helping others and being good, caring, conscientious individuals.

The Early Childhood Center at HANC Plainview is great. The children really get time to play, which is so important for development (I am a therapist) and life skills and they are learning the academic skills they need as well. Because it is located in the elementary school, the children get to take advantage of things like the gym and library and have special lunchtime helpers, but yet the preschool has its own separate cozy wing. The indoor playground is amazing!!!

The school has high standards in both Jewish and secular subjects, but the teachers and administration really shine in their attention to the individual needs of the students.

the school is amazing, better education than public schools. Lots of culture. BEST SCHOOL! Every parent should send their kids here!

The children's education is sub-standard. They do not learn how to speak Hebrew. In 6th grade, they only studied science for half of the year. If you apply for financial aid, you will be turned down. But if you threaten to take you child out, they will beg you to come back.

The staff does not help students to gain knowledge about any other topic except Judiasm. Since it is a very global world today, this is such a mistake. These kids are not learning about othe cultures and are locked in their own little world.

If your household is not operating under a professional-working-father and semi-professional mother working part-time (or not at all), or if it it comes to light that your child is adopted or suspected of being less than a "real" Jew in any way, HANC staff and administrators will respond accordingly. Be warned.

This school has a significant problem with communication among the faculty and administration. Although the Rabbi/Principal is approachable and available to meet with parents to discuss their needs and concerns, there is a clear breakdown in communication during the school day among faculty and staff. It is not a great school at all and needs to improve.
