I attended Nardin Academy, and I sent my daughters to Nardin. It is an amazing school that both nurtures and challenges students. My daughters thrived in college, and they credit Nardin for their success.

This school is terrible if you arent rich, white, and traditionally pretty (blonde, blue eyes etc). As a student at this school, I’ve been treated horridly because im not rich nor have blonde hair -( for some unknown reason the teachers will treat you better if youre blonde) Nardin Academy caters poorly to those struggling with mental health, and family issues. They overload you with so much as well. If you have a choice i do not reccomend this school.

This school mainly only caters to white girls. This is not the best environment for students of color. The lack of diversity in teachers also affects how the students learn. White teachers may still have a prejudice which shows when teaching history. Microsggresions are frequently present. Overall, this school is not the best to send your kid if you aren’t white.

Many of the teachers at this school are very caring and always want the best for their students. Many teachers connect with the students well and try to understand them whilst teaching them what they could be doing instead. Some students do not like certain teachers maybe because they feel left out, targeted or because they are too hard with the homework load. No matter the case, I believe everyone has their own opinions on teachers. Not everyone will like nor hate one teacher and there will usually always be ONE teacher a student dislikes, which is totally normal. You can't expect to love every teacher, and if you do then you're screwed for the rest of high school/college believing that every or most teachers must be your favorite. If you find that MOST students hate a teacher, then the teacher probably is terrible and should be more aware of his or her actions and words towards students because Nardin girls are still girls and should be treated with kindness.

Many people complain about the 'bullying' at Nardin. As a student, I admit there is bullying that I have heard about, nothing too extreme though. All schools have some sort of bullying; it really can't be stopped unless the school is filled with a bunch of emotionless robots. The problem is that people take this bullying as a sign that the school as a whole is bad, but that is simply not true. Nardin staff and teachers do NOT tolerate bullying. They try their hardest to feed the girls positive messages because the girls aren't emotionless robots. The biggest thing is if the girl actually develops these strong character traits. If we are actually rating the school itself and not the students that come out of it, then I would say Nardin does a good job.

It's a pleasure to see the many different learning paces in Nardin. Some girls are a whole year ahead in a class which is incredible and some still struggle with basic things, which is totally okay. Most teachers are very good at targeting the girls who struggle and try to help them with a project or homework.

As a said before about Nardin's development of strong character in its students, bullying is simply not tolerated. Because it is a girls school, not many actual fist fighting goes on (it is possible, rare though). Most bullying is behind teacher's backs: over media, verbally, or just plain not paying attention to girls at all. It makes it more difficult for teachers to realize what is going on because the girls are so good at hiding it. The Nardin staff tries their best to crush bullying because what more can they do?

Nardin is a very controversial school. I am currently a student at the school so I know what goes on behind and in front of teacher's eyes. I have heard many things about this school such as the great amount of bullying, terrible teachers, big image and 'snobby rich girls'. All I have to say is that people make everything a lot more than it needs to be. Yes, Nardin has bullying, what school doesn't? Yes, sometimes not all girls like all teachers, there will always be a teacher someone has a problem with. Yes, Nardin has a big image it upholds because why would they WANT to get rid of their image? I'm sure the Nardin staff wakes up and wonders what they should do to earn less money and become less successful. Haha absolutely not, no one does that. Yes, there are rich girls and sometimes they are snobby. There are also snobby less-than-rich girls. (Personally, everyone is a little snobby unless they are perfect angels. We are humans people, not angels).
I sit in homeroom a lot and because I am not the extroverted type, I just sit and listen to the many conversations between the girls. I have found that students are constantly complaining about EVERYTHING. I will admit, complaining is a good way to start and continue conversations. Most of these complaints are about Nardin and the terrible teachers/food/girls/homework load and much more that don't come to mind. One day my homeroom teacher listened to these complaints and said something that caught my attention. She explained to the girls that it was unavoidable for Nardin to be overwhelming and terrible. That is simply what high school is. High school IS bad teachers. High school IS loads of homework. Parents can complain about specific high schools all they want and yet no matter how many schools they move their child to, there will always be bad teachers, unfriendly classmates, tons of homework and maybe unappetizing lunches. (You won't find bad lunches at Nardin, just saying.) Nardin is simply another school. I gave most of my opinions about specific things in the other questions, but as a whole, I believe Nardin is a great school to be at.
I hope I didn't offend anyone with my opinion. Thanks for reading.

Don't waste your money. If you want your daughter to be well-rounded, send her to a school that is less about image and more about education.

This school portrays it's self as and all girls school but then they turn around and allow boys to come in the school and mingle with the girls, they want to have it both ways TOTALLY MIS-LEADING.This school has a bully problem and they won't address it for fear it would ruin there so-called perfect image and they'd loose Big Money Donors. My daughters grades dropped 20 points since enrolling in this school and she's barely passing. The teachers are mean to my daughter and to me and totally UNCARING to the point where they made my daughter cry.I've spent a ton of money sending my daughter to this school and it was totally a waste of my MONEY.DEFINETLY NEVER SEND YOUR DAUGHTER HERE.THEY DON'T CARE!!! This school is totally overated with no Morals, they claim there a religous school and a all girls school but guys are constantly in the school harassing the girls and they feel it's perfectly o.k.
