The people who run this school are very scary. They fire peole for no reason . The school feeels more like a jail than a school due to the excesive number of cameras and security guards. I get that security in school setting is an important topic in this day and age but there has to be an equilibrium. Ever since I was fired from that school, after just one week, I started getting phone calls with very strange music and it started almost the very week I was fired and continues to this day. It has been almost 7 months and the phone calls continue. I am of the conclusion that there is someone in that school behind these very annoying and scary phone calls. The children really seem nice but the school leadership and the HR Dept. are occupied by people that would send chills down your back,

Would not recommend school is more like a jail, they have no picture day no school trips no playground for the kids to play on teachers very weird they lose your kid & act surprise when you flip on them this has no structure would not recommend. They only reach out to you at the end of the school year when your kid is failing

Not a good school. Kids are bused in from projects and are terrible. Teachers would routinely cry and kids have constant fights. No one knows who their dads are, and kids look a like and MIGHT have similar dads, which is an issue in projects if you get my drift down the road.
Parents smell like certain substances and the staff tends to avoid mentioning it. The leadership, lets call her "DG," is very much two-faced. If you work there, do NOT trust her. The staff is mostly nice, some are catty, it's not a place to START or even have a career in my opinion.
Stay away from RCA is my warning if you are a teacher.
Parents much like the children, don't and will never understand responsibility of actions.

THIS SCHOOL HAS A LOT OF NEGATIVE CHANGES ESPECIALLY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SCHOOL YEAR. HOW DO YOU CHANGE A VERY GOOD TEACHER WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE TO THE PARENTS 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE TEST. HOW DO YOU GET RID OF THE PRINCIPAL WHO WAS VERY NICE, ORGANIZED AND PROFESSIONAL BECAUSE THE READING IS DOWN. I DON'T BLAME THE TEACHERS I BLAME THE PARENTS. I HAVE TO KIDS IN THIS SCHOOL WHO NEVER WENT TO PRE SCHOOL AND 1 CHILD IS ABOVE LEVEL AND THE OTHER IS ON GRADE LEVEL. THE TEACHERS ARE GREAT!!!!!! THE WILL WORK WITH YOUR CHILD AND SHOW YOU WAYS TO WORK WITH YOUR CHILD.

One, everyone in the state has seen a drop in test scores because of the new testing standards. The new principal is not responsible for that. Secondly, there should be other methods of measurement besides just test scores. How students are human beings, not raw data. Most people don't even know what the standardized test are assessing but put a lot of weight in them. Lets come up with some of our own standard of measurements.

What are we doing with a principal who leads his school to the ground. Have you seend the scores. Ever since Mrs. Ashley left the scores have bottomed out and where do we go from this point! Just crying about how week administration continues to be over the last couple of years.
