This school is unfair, bad kids can get away with the bad stuff they did. Girls bathroom is unhygienic, most of the kid are horrible, 7th and 8th (probably other grades) got spirit week taken away due to kids acting up, and some lunches are nasty.

Honestly I don't know why the rating is so low. This is an amazing supportive school. I am so happy I decided to send my son here. He gets the social, emotional and educational support he needs to grow into a fine young man. As a parent I get to be involved in his education. They use class dojo and his teacher messages me weekly to update on his behaviors.

They just push the kids on regardless of how they do with home work or in class work for that matter.

Teachers are far more worried about themselves then they are about these students and their futures. I am infuriated and overly distrot with the experience school year 2018-2019

These kids do as they please with very minimal redirection. There is no structured disciplinary plan of action and the hierarchy would rather not deal with certain parents and children due to the way that would unfold. In doing so these children can do no harm and leads to to a greater issue at hand.

My oldest daughter struggled both her years there. Math reading comprehension. We can not accompany her to school nor can we make up for the ground she lost everyday going back to school. Her teacher was not built to teach in that setting. She would tell us parents what she had to in order to not have to deal with the problems mounting in that classroom.

1/10 I am absolutely heart broken watching my daughter float through the abyss this year. We changed schools and she was retested. She tested multiple grade levels lower then this school documented her at. All of our concerns we had throughout the last year continued into this year and only became worse. We were assured and reassured the problem were addressed and she was indeed making sincere gains towards the end of the year. All her grades and academic levels climbed to where they needed to be. She was passed just because. AN INCREDIBLE DISSERVICE for my daughter and her future. I am appauled and something needs to change with these schools after next years bankroll instead of this years students.

My son really enjoys going to WCCS. He's currently in the 7th grade and has attend this school or 2 years. I wish I had started him out there much earlier. The teachers are very helpful and the staff in the Office is outstanding. The school is always help wit your issues and concerns regarding the students.

My 3 boys attend this school and I am not happy!!! Communication between teacher and parents is nonexistant. Suggestions and interaction with the parents are ignored.

I rated WCCS four stars because we are never done growing, learning, and improving. We are a building filled with individuals, staff and students, who are prepared to walk to the end of the sidewalk. We understand that we have high expectations and we will take risks, making tough decisions that are rooted in data and have the potential for failure because we know that the road to success is dotted with the sign posts of failure. This is a building filled with people committed to playing in the sandbox. We believe in skilled and motivated people working together. We build strong relationships, communicate clearly and candidly, and we celebrate the efforts of every stakeholder in our community. WCCS is insatiable. We have a philosophy of continuous improvement, a passion to get the best out of our students and colleagues, and a desire to build technical and functional skills that reflect best practices. We will show initiative, courage, and integrity in all that we do for our students. We have one goal: to challenge the status quo to create the best school in America.

All my children attended Westminister. In the past Westminster was a great school, however, due to drastic changes in teachers and the past principal leaving, there has been a drop in professionalism. i really think the teachers has lost interest in the students because they don't have the past principal to push them. i would say the lack of professionalism is their worst characteristics. They need to revamp how they do things at Westminster Community Charter School.
