This is a good school for the most part, but the politics of the school are really messed up. It is a public school and parents are not allowed to be in the same hallway as classes. They call it their safe to school policy, but in affect it makes a lot of the parents I talk to nervous that we are not able to "observe" the teachers teaching. I have called and asked several times and have been denied each time. The adminstration seems to have something to hide. They get very defensive about this policy, even though every paper and speach starts out with we are looking for more parental involvement, you cant have that if you cant go to the school. They need to re-examine this policy and polish it off, this is the reason I will be pulling my student out and putting them in one of the other schools that dont have this type of policy.
