Henry Johnson Charter School has been the perfect fit for our household. The staff is caring, skilled and always there to help or answer any questions. You can really tell that the staff has a passion for what they do. Undoubtedly, I feel that my daughter is learning more at Henry Johnson Charter School than our local public school. Choosing Herny Johnson Charter School has been the best decision Ive ever made for my daughter.

Henry Johnson Charter School has been an integral part of my childrens education. 2 of my daughters attended and graduated from HJCS and now my 3rd one is enrolled, and I would choose HJCS again and again. My oldest daughter now 22, and in her graduate studies at SUNY Plattsburgh, was a part of the first graduating class of HJCS under the leadership of Lillian Turner. The foundation that they set in her elementary years helped her develop into a confident, studious student, excelling in mostly all her subjects. The smaller community at HJCS allows the teachers to get to know their students and individual struggles. It allows them to devout more time and resources when needed to assure no child is left behind. The open communication, after school resources, and full-on support throughout all the staff in the school makes HJCS stand out. Some of the staff are still working there since the doors opened, and that speaks volumes about the school and staff they employ. My mother would volunteer to read on some days to the kids, they are always welcoming families to get involved and participate in the school. I stand with HJCS and encourage anyone I know to send their child to this school. I have, and it has paid off. My oldest daughter graduated high school as a member of the National Honor Society, and then college with various awards. My 13-year-old is now in 8th grade taking all honors and accelerated courses and I credit the Henry Johnson Charter School community for that. Their focus and culture of high academic achievement and a safe, nurturing, and respectful environment absolutely helped mold them into what they are today. And they give you 3 FREE full uniforms.

more Instruction, discipline, behavior, respect, all the teachers are teaching very well, enrichment programs, reading ram challenge, the best thing is parents university.. how to help home work for their kids at home.... so, I'm glad to know that!
