As an alumni who graduated in 2024 and spent my entire life as a student at Perry, I might have a bit of biasbut I truly believe this school is amazing. Its a great place to stay away from some of the negative influences that larger schools often bring. My time here was incredible, thanks to the teachers and coaches who inspired me. While many of those role models have moved on to bigger and better things, their impact remains unforgettable. Their departure also made room for new, talented individuals to join, and theyve brought even more great things to the school.
Perry is the perfect, simple, yet sweet location to focus on learning and personal growth while escaping the chaos of the outside world. Our community is incredibly strong and deeply valued. The school buildings have been well-maintained over the years, and weve made some exciting upgrades recently, like a brand-new junior high and athletics facility. Were in a much better place now than we were in 2010, and it shows.
If youre reading this, believe me when I say Perry is a school that sets its students up for success. Ive achieved so much because of the opportunities provided here, and its an amazing place for your children to grow, learn, and pursue their future goals. Perry truly strives to put everyone on the right track.

As an update in 2013, the high school has been completely renovated now. There is a brand new elementary school, and the middle school has has some updating also. There is a new superintendent who is a Perry native and alumni, and has been a teacher at the high school. Things have greatly improved in Perry schools! Also, you will rarely find a community that supports it's schools so strongly. I graduated from these schools in the 90s, and my children attend them today. My children briefly attended another Oklahome school of roughly the same size (slightly larger), and it was a great disappointment after the Perry schools. Perry was more advanced, cooperative and caring by far. I moved my kids back to Perry schools!

I am an ex-employee of Perry, OK School District. I found the Superintendent, Timothy Smith, to be a smug, self-satisfied autocrat who has converted his office into a virtual throne room. His less-than-stellar administration has resulted in Perry High School's poor performance vis-a-vis neighboring high schools. I am genuinely sorry for the students, faculty and ancillary employees squashed under this tyrant's thumb.

The school is terrible, all the money for the school goes to sports mainly wrestling. none of the textbooks are up to date. us as students dont get the education we need that is why this school is poorly and sadly misfortunite.

I graduated in 2005 and there were more than 180 buckets catching water upstairs. They actually had to stop using 3 of the classrooms upstairs because they were full of buckets. Most days they only turned on about 1 of every 10 lights to save on utility bills. I managed to get a decent high school education thanks to a couple incredible teachers but they usually don't last long due to ingroup-outgroup dynamics and the ridiculous administrative turnover.
