For the most part teachers there are great. Administrators are great except for Will Wortman. I suggest he goes through additional training and education. Needs vast improvement in his ability to perform as an administrator. Also needs training and more experience in communicating with adults and how to talk to other professionals and parents. Not a good hire or placement for him. May need to shadow other administrators. Other than that great staff.

Literally the single worst school in Oklahoma. Big violence problem, not to mention the lack of action towards bullying and harassment. I also was unfortunately one of the students who had to endure the many problems with the bus lines and such. 3 bus routes worth of sweaty teens packed tightly into ONE bus, which made it nearly impossible to fit. Not to mention sometimes the bus just would not be there. The amount of times I had to have my mom get off of work just to pick me up is RIDICULOUS. And thanks to the school's complete disregard for mental health, I ended up almost getting hospitalized. And yes, I blame the school, because as soon as I got up and out of that hell pit, I was doing MUCH better. So here's a little bit of advice, parents: Don't let your kids go here. NO MATTER WHAT.

This is easily the worst school I have ever been to in Oklahoma. I'm a senior at this school - or rather, I WAS. I was removed from the system for too many absences and now I'm being enrolled into online homeschooling. Neither me or my mother were made aware of this change. Not only is communication with parents and students horrible, but the school itself is an absolute joke. The bullying and fighting problems this school has is so extremely prominent with barely anything being done to combat them. The most that's been done is completely separating the freshman at lunch - which obviously hasn't worked because fights still happen regularly. Most of these fights even end with blood being shed and a teenager getting arrested. The majority of the teachers do nothing to help students and are often just outright rude to them. With a few exceptions, they barely do anything to actually teach or provide guidance. The school makes itself seem like a place accepting of all minorities, but homophobia, transphobia, and racism are all extremely common, even for the staff. Trying to navigate this school is an utter nightmare with a confusing layout and being extremely overcrowded. Students are disrespectful to teachers who've done nothing wrong. The school's idea of credit recovery for students falling behind is absolutely laughable for how ineffective and unnecessarily stressful it is. The school itself is VERY dirty - the bathrooms are covered in graffiti, the floors are coated in dirt and grime, dead bugs line the windows of some classrooms (there was a HUGE bug problem in one of the hallways at one point - there were insect corpses absolutely everywhere). Overall, this school is the definition of a last resort, and I would not recommend sending your kids here if you have the option to.

Teacher here: While there may be many negative comments about this school I can attest that it is getting better. Our new principal is very enthusiastic and genuinely wants to make this school better in all possible facets. Yes, the students here are constantly cursing and getting in fights but that happens in every school. This is a title I school where most students come from low income families. Education just isn't a priority for certain students and their parents. With that being said, things are getting better. The school's report card grade is the highest in the district & our community involvement is rising. It just takes time. We teachers do greatly care for our student's welfare and most of us do our very best to help our students succeed.

Too much is given but its not the kind that has any educational value or meaning. That grade letter means absolutely nothing if you don't know the material yourself.

If you play a Sport, you have a one way ticket to do anything you want and to get anything you want. The school treats its students with no respect and has no care in the world.

As a student of Putnam City High School, the teachers are not very caring exempting maybe 1 or 2 that I have had and the teaching blatantly is very dull and not very good. Bullying happens on the daily and foul language is used consistently among all the classes. No more funding for the extra curricular activities and all money goes to Sports. If you are a parent, I would not recommending sending your student to this school. If you are a student attending this school now, Feelings mutual.

I'm a student and this is my second day. So far everyone is so rude- not to mention the assistant principal! He was pretty disrespectful towards me. It is very confusing if you are new, no help around. I'm a freshman. I feel bad for any new freshmen. Also, I'm not sure about how great the actual teaching is, but so far Spanish 2 seems like the best class I have. The rest seem easy and I am actually excited for Math.
