Still a student, this school has many intrinsic issues that have yet to be solved/can't be solved. The student body is (mostly) entitled young adults who don't do any work, yet still pass classes with an A and graduate with a 3.5+ GPA. It's pretty crazy. Staff is good though, no complaints about them. Special ed program is pretty good honestly.
About the recent news: most staff from that has been fired. Good riddance. They also cut entire programs to pay for legal fees, however, and we've lost really good teachers in the crossfire.
Talking to administration is like talking to a brick wall at best, so I really wouldn't send any kids of mine to this school.

Theyre not even addressing the scandals? This is sick. I know things that have happened at this school and the school does absolutely nothing.

Mount St. Mary has been great for our daughter. The college block schedule, family atmosphere and real world families is wonderful. The faculty are fantastic. The historic school reminds you of schools back East and the education is second to none. Everyone speaks very highly of the Mount and now we know why. Were thrilled our daughter shadowed there as an 8th grader!!
