The principal, counselors and superintendents are doing the best they can with what they have been given. I appreciate their notification system when there are school wide events and closures.

Considering the demographic and economical make up of the students and parents. My children for the most part feel safe. There will always be personality conflicts within any group of individual. I believe there should be more focus on conflict resolution between the children when there is an altercation. Maybe this is a training issue but again for the most part bullying was not a real issue with my children.

The school is one of the better ones for the area that it is located in, their after school program is outstanding as well as other programs. They are innovative when it comes to raising money for extra activities. The one thing that I don't like is the early release in the middle of the week if the district could change the early release to Friday's so working parents wouldn't have their week interrupted it would be a great. The staff is friendly and accommodating especially when it comes to parent pick up and other circumstances. The girls sports programs need more support but that is something that has been evolving across the country.

I believe there should be more but the problem is time to grade the home work based off of the sizes of the class and the materials available. This is a state wide problem when it comes to teachers, materials, class numbers. So it's not so much they don't get home work. I don't believe the home work given was value added and competitive in comparison to the high rated school's curriculum.

The teachers are pleasant and genuinely care about the children and school. They are willing to work with parents who want to be involved in their child's education.

Very happy with this school! Administration works well with parents who wish to transfer their children. They do their best to accomdate everyone.

i think its the best school ever im going to crooked oak and its so great that i just can't miss a day at school cause I'll feel so bad im so happy being in crooked oak its the first school that i feel like going everyday!!!
