The leadership, and staff are dedicated to giving the students the best possible academic, music, arts and sports programs. Traditional public schools education is becoming a rare thing in Oklahoma. The student body is supportive of each other and wins many awards. The teachers go over and beyond to be inclusive of all students and parents. Del City as a city continue to put money into improving the schools, roads and library.

DCHS teachers are credentialed in their specified field of teaching. The teachers are hands on, knowledgeable in their expertise, creative, sensitive to the needs of their students, and are generous and willing to spend extra instructional time with students, if needed.

The schools character is mostly provided by Christian administrators, teachers, and counselors. They exhibit integrity, compassion and respect to their co-workers, supervisors, faculty, staff, parents, students and vendors. This example is viewed and exemplified by DCHS students.

The board, administration, faculty, staff, counselors, and teachers are all top notch individuals. Many are Christians and exhibit Christian character with their descipline, teaching, counseling, and advising, etc.!
They provide security and accommodate ALL students with a high quality education.

The student body of DCHS is diverse in culture and economically challenged. These facts can cause some division amongst students. Overall, the school handles bullying very well.

The purpose of homework is to complete a classroom assignment or the teacher will assign homework to advance and further the students education. Sometimes the student will be assign research papers, essays,
and specific projects related to their course.

My experience at DCHS was phenomenal. The administration, faculty, staff, counselors, and teacher's were top notch! The academics were challenging and rigorous with many class choices and options. There were many clubs and organizations available (FCA). The sport programs were outstanding at all levels! I loved the school's large campus. The band room, auditorium, commons, library, weight room etc. were all remodeled and spacious! The field house is huge and impressive! We had updated lab and computer equipment along with current learning material. My experiences were active and fun, but the priority of the school was furthuring my education in preparation for college and my future. Proud Eagles!!!

Nice, large campus in great shape. The staff does an excellent job of making the student body feel like a family. Plenty of classes and activities to choose from.

Terrible school district ... Teachers and staff do not care about the problems at Del City High School ... With all the cussing , disruptions in the class room , Dress code people wearing saggy pants ...
